    I used to seek out the dimmest of lamps when i frequented the Dales and trained the mutts to a weak candle power,on other locations i wanted illumination.Id not be able to lamp with the dim lamps i utilised in the early ,s now,my eyesight is fecked and i like a wide strong beam now,id have frowned on that a few decades ago. I don't mind a bright light on right land but as a rule the gamekeeper 120 is plenty for me this new one is more for the lads that want the power of a blitz in a smaller more portable lamp
