Hi, Wish it was me who had the problem! Most sporting method is shot the flight line. Pick the day when there is enough wind to keep them low. Decoying in the field ain't as much fun or skill, thats why you have French men paying for it! So the commercial side of goose shooting has reach up there! The frogies have driven a long way and passed some great geese shoting places on the way up the A9. You found anyone in the ground yet? YIS Alex

Hi Hill Loch, Been watching this space, so the fish was caught on the Dochfour section of the Ness? I had thought it was on the association water, who landed it? young Grant the new head Gillie after Robin retired? Being 3,500 miles away from my old catchment area makes it difficult to keep up to date on the home front, any ifo pictures would be appreciated. Cheers the noo, Alex

Has anyone heard of a technique called "The Board"
Dubai expat replied to a topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
Aye, The old otter board, used them for trout fishing in the evening, shaped in the front like a boom-a-rang, had a metal goal post on the top which you attacheg the main line, mine had a bid of lead built into the front to keep it low in the water, it had 6 traces at the back, with about 12 flies on each, I used a pool cue as a rod as you could take it apart to hide it! You walk around the loch with it, the shape of the board ment that as you feed out line and walked, it went out into the loch & if you wanted it to come back in, you yanked on the line to move it to the other side of t -

Frank, Get the hell out of it! As you can see from my forum name, I moved 6,000miles to get the fcuk away from a bitch who got my guns taken away for no reason, I got them back after 6 months and decided, I am out of here got a job in Dubai, sadist thing was giving my dogs away, but they all went to good homes. I never ran away just decided a new job new country and new woman, major change, still I can clay shoot and fish over here and I know that some time in the future I will return to the UK and get back what I have lost, my life in the countryside, my dogs and guns.
