well i aint been on here for a while due to personal reasons (dad's is seriously ill) and also not had chance to fly Freya free til today due to weather but we went out today with a couple of mates, they flew theirs free for a while and i walked her on the fist then after they'd had their fun i let her free for't first time, she came to the glove after about 30 seconds of wondering how to get out the tree but she was good after that, hopefully get her out 1 day over't weekend. chuffed now we've done it, been a long week with the crappy weather and other things

You will never get everyone agreeing with the stuff some folk do..or even understanding it over a keyboard..just ignore what you dont want to read and take onboard what you like to read.. ..and keep us updated with your progress. Will do, just a bit peed off with stupid comments, don't mind criticism either way but stupid comments piss me off Freya's doing well, seems settled as can be after a few days, just looking forward to spending more time with her, she's a beaut

she fed on fist today and yesterday but what's with the '7 days before feeding' comment?? she would have been fed monday and i got her wednesday am at 6-45, we jessed her up etc and left her with 2 chicks which were eaten when i went back to her after lunch!

well had 2 hours with freya this morning, she managed to eat from my fist but wouldn't quite jump although i reckon tomorrow/sunday she'll be ready to! had an hour this afternoon with her, she seems quite relaxed and happy to step on to the first

What did you use for the bars? I used broom shafts/handles mate (got the idea off saxonmaster) work well and look good too

well got our bird today (Freya is her name), got her jessed up etc this morning thanks to my mates here and left til this afternoon, spent an hour with her mostly on the fist, she seems fairly settled but will see how we go tomorrow, need to thank steve (punch and judy) and billy (saxonmaster) also all the folks who gave me help on here and hopefully will give me more! thanks to you all cheers, here she is

good idea if grovesy's up for it i coud maybe meet him somewhere and pay him whatever we agree? just depends what he's doing after going to billy's! good idea but all sorted now anyway cheers

hi grovesy, yes mate i been told about the holes so the lower ones will be slightly covered from't inside but with a gap obviously for air to get in ha ha. as for't hooding i won't be doing during early stages but will ask further down the line whether it's worth doing mate,cheers. was going to collect the bird myself but at't moment having only 1 car is proving to be difficult for doing that so courier is looking likely (punch and judy steve has recommended a guy wh he's used before) so yes it'll be in a cardboard box mate cheers

decided to paint it with a darker stain as other one looked a bit too light, gotta finish roof felting off with wood trim also which i'll do this weekend
