    Tomo was it you that had the cyclops lamp? and did you try the Lucas 130 watt halogen bulb in it?.. Do you know the part number for this bulb I wanted to up-rate my cyclops or a web address to order one ? Yeah Tomo it is called a LUCAS 130 watt HALOGEN BULB. If you google that i am sure you will see it, any local car spare shop should be able to order it for you..

    I got my 170 second hand but in good nick, and there was no cable ties attached..

    I have had a couple of problems with the wiring on the 170 lamp,where the wire goes up through the red plastic part that comes out at the bottom of the lamp handle. i noticed where i had clumsily caught the wire a few times round barbed wire fences it had over time put strain on the wire where it connects up, so i gave my lamp to a sparks friend to have a look at who made some repairs to the wiring, but also pointed out that a (CABLE TIE) attached to each side of the red plastic insert where the wire enters the bottom of the handle therefore prevents any movement of the wire and no strain o

    Yep, this one will have people thinking. Me and a mate was lamping some local fields to us. A long lane with fields either side with hedgerows too tall to see over. Well we was keeping to the hedge as this is where the bunnys run to when we heard a car coming down the lane, so we turned the lamp off and got down as we thought it might be old bill. Anyways we could hear the car coming slowly down the lane and come to a stop literally on the other side of the hedge to us, heard the car door open, then foot steps as if they was wearing boots, then the car door closed again but didn't drive off.     Has any of you had stange encounters, or weird encounters what you cant explain, me and a friend was lamping on a heath one night we had caught a couple of rabbits, when we had to cut through a wooded footpath which was about a few minutes walk, well we are walking along this bita path when a bout 30 yards into the wood to our left what looked like a quick flash of a torch, and we both see this, i said to my mate did you see that steve, and instantly, he said yeah like a quick flash of light. well i shone the lamp to where we saw that light, and there was nothing or no one ther

    I have found that to get the correct replacement bulb for lightfore lamps to be near on impossible..Lightforce on there main website have got a chart explaining the candle power of all the different types of bulbs that they sell for there lamps. the bulb that the 170 and 240 come with is a 100 watt vertical fillament, this bulb gives you 530,000 CP in the 170 and 1,000000 cp in the blitz 240 the bulb that fits into these lamps is a GLO6 globe, does anybody on here know of a supplyer that actually stock this bulb,, because (match the propper mcoy GLO6 bulb) against another so called GENUI

    Would i be right in saying, that VHD affects rabbits in the same way as EBOLA affects humans, IE,, there main organs turn to a liquid mush, and they bleed from every orfice.     Another time was when i was about 19 we use to have some permission on some horse fields that ajoin to a football field,and the owner Nigel who ran the social club on the ground, said any time you want to lamp the fields, you can, dont bother knocking just go out there.     HELP NEEDED,, Have You Used The Tracer 140 Its soon my friends 50th birthday and his father in law as got a budget of £150.00 to buy him a lamping outfit. I suggested to buy second hand but he insists he wants to buy NEW, so i have found a combination on Ebay which consists of 8AH lithium + 140 Tracer For £155.00 Which he said was ok. He will only be lamping rabbits, but it would be nice to hear some feedback on anybody that has used this lamp and what They are like in the field,IE tight beam, distance ETC.. regards, SWG DAVE...

    I was a friend of Dougie Cooper, and his pest control company was called CTF Pest Control, in Sutton in Surrey.He had a field sport shop above the premises called CTF FIELD SPORTS SUPPLYS selling just about anything to do with fieldsports.     I watched a programme the other night called,, (The truth about your dog food) i dont know how many of you watched it but it was very interesting about what we feed our dogs, they found that some of the canned wet foods are full of sugars,, and just made to smell nice so dogs just wharf it back. there were also people in favor of feeding dry food, but a couple of what i thought to be very savvy vets, that were deffinately in favor of feeding raw and bones.     My dog had an ear infection once shaking his head from side to side and i was advised to get OTODEX Ear Drops which worked brilliant Within about 4 days all signs anything was wrong was gone.     Just a quick update, my younger dog is now 22months old, and what a different dog those 7 months have made. He is used for lamping rabbits and catches well, he has a good prey drive,and as soon as lamp goes off he runs back, nearly as fast as he run out if he misses. his retrieve is not that great, but even at this age is improving. All in all he is a nice old dog with plenty of stamina and plenty of speed..
