  1. Great post mate, I own an AA s400 PCP & an SMK XS19 and even though the S400 cost 3x the amount that my SMK springer did I sill prefer feeling a kick in my shoulder. Plus not having to use a stirrup pump to keep the thing usable is a bonus The SMK is not as accurate as the S400 and to be fair it isn't the most expensive piece of kit but I really enjoy using it. I'd love to get my hands on a Weirhrauch, they're beauties
  2. Welcome to THL Fenton mate.
  3. Thanks for the advice guys! Will look into a couple of options this weekend, will try to tighten it normally through the screw next to trigger then failing that will take it apart and follow the instructions... just scared of not being able to put it back together haha!
  4. Afternoon all, I just thought I'd ask you guys to see if it is a common problem or whether it is just my gun. I bought an AA S400 Classic off the sale forum here 2 months ago and I've noticed that the trigger is extremely light. Now when I say light I don't mean a pound of pressure I mean Light to the point of it going off if you even stroke the trigger too hard. Putting on the safety is even a delicate process which isn't good. So as above is it a frequent problem? Can it be fixed to make it harder to pull the trigger? If so is it something I can do? Thanks

  8. Hi Rik mate, welcome to the forum, Just to extend onto what Sweeney has said; for a basic Break Barrel springer for rabbits your best bet is probably a general domed pellet. 'Superdomes' are very popular as they hit quite hard and as a rule are very accurate. Personally I use Air Arms Diablo fields which are a bit of an all rounder/hybrid pellet and RWS Superdomes. The Air Arms are very accurate and fit the barrel really well, they come in both 5.51mm & 5.52mm, the RWS Superdomes are also nice and accurate and pack enough punch to kill most small quarry in one hit. Hope thi

  10. I look forward to receiving the rifle, pleasure doing business.
  11. Think I've just bought myself an S400 so pretty chuffed. Permissions wise I don't have permissions exactly I just know a farmer up near ainsworth/breightmet who lets me on his land as he's best mates with the father in law
  12. Morning all, Thought I'd introduce myself I'm from Manchester, live in the city centre (what's left of it) but shoot up around Bury/Bolton way. In the market for my first PCP as currently use an SMK springer which does the job but isn't fantastic. Generally go for bunnies, crows, maggies and pigeons.
