    the dog sounds like its intelligent, you need really gamey ground, I can assure you if game is in there the dog will hit the cover hard, if not the dog is unlikely to hit cover for the sake of it... some will but its not necessary..enjoy the dog, and don't pt too much pressure on it, they know better then us, their nose will lead them to game

    I don't know the breeder but like the stamp he's putting out there, I like a Russell with colour on it and the Sire and Dog pup are belters, take it the breeder is not a digging man anymore, is he hunting the rossettes or just banging pups out??? nice stamp anyway I know that means sweet FA but good luck to your friend NEF

    terriers are used for absolutely everything, bushing,going to ground, beating and general fun.. as long as their happy and well worked, thats all what matters, we all have different opinions and I agree a terriers vocation is to be worked to ground but not all are lucky to work them hard that way, so we must find other ways to keep our dogs happy..

    in my opinion bloodlines are not the be all and end all, I have a very honest dog here, has got hardly any ftch in the pedigree, but he's an honest dog, with all the good qualities and seems to be siring quality pups... its about the work you put in aswell as harnessing the dogs natural ability, don't get me wrong I would like to work with a dog with a pedigree full of FTCH, but we all know the trainers behind them have made their status up.. These top trainers can work with poor cases and make them Ftch I take my hat off to them.. Just stay true to yourself and the dog, lots of small doses

    there is not just one kennel who produce great stuff alot do, askiro got a lot of good names on the button, Openshaw is supposed to be great to deal with and his numbers speak for them selves
