Haven't really had the chance on the land I work. Looking forward to the ferreting season to start with itchy feet as I don't think it can be beaten as a form of hunting! Thank you for the welcomes and advice on the Mk3. I think I will keep to that one. I got hold of two young gill's that are a nice polecat, did idealy want a white but never mind. Sorted out a ferret box and got some of the kit to have a go at making my own nets. Never really made any before, but with You Tube... How difficult can it be (may regret saying that!!!) So getting there. Nice to see other Yellow Bellies

Hello all. I've been away from Ferreting for about two years but now coming back into the field again after being offered a cemetry permission. It is a difficult permission as there is no digging, though I can back fill. My fiance has the same permission to use his air rifle (I don't shoot at the moment, but plan on getting an air rifle soon) for the rabbit, and pest birds. The bounderies back on to National Trust land which we have been asked to ferret and shoot too. I am just so thrilled that my good reputation two years ago have come to such permissions!!! So plenty of work ahead... the
