  3. ok dave it broke my heart too but i have borrowed a ferret finder for the season to see what all the hoo ha is about. as i'm not technologically minded i must make a note to myself ( do not stot it off the ground in temper, put it in bubble wrap, carefull put it on the ground, then swear and cuss like a trooper , otherwise mick will be worring about his mk3) dont worry if your reading this mick i will take good care of the disco carrot and treat it with kid gloves. will make a decision later on in the season about purchasing one when i see if i can fathom it out!!!!!!!!!! so far have

  7. you can get bitter apple spray from all good pet shops and works a treat on biters as it tastes foul and soon stops the biting
  8. rats tail is very common at this time of year dont worry it will soon grow back
  9. get some cat milk that is fine or bitter apple spray from a pet shop it tastes foul if you spray your hands with it. the other thing you could do is try handling on a full belly. kits will be more responsive on a full tummy

  13. show day !!!! up at 5am will look like a zombie by 12 but come and say hi!
  14. we have only just started with the 3ft 6 at £2 each as we have noticed that alot of people like that sized net they are 17 meshes at widest point and would work out at £35 the 3ft 8 are £40 and 18 meshes wide at widest point
  15. what size r the nets vin - cause i do 3ft 8 x 18 meshes wide on a 2and 1/8 board and mine r £25 all in a 3ft 6 x 16 mesh x 2and 1/8 board would work out at 23 no bother or even a bit cheaper. i just prefer a bigger net so i can dispatch the rabbit in the nets as i have a problem with my hand due to an accident
  16. there are many decent net makers on here bud who can do a decent net for less than the £3 charged on the ebay link above read the net thread at the top of the page on the ferret forum. there is albert 64,netrigger,myself and a few more . ebay rips you off for charges and makes things pricey. if you want cheap you probably will want the nylons as they come out at around £1.20 - £1.50 and spun poly comes in at anything from £2 upwards. sorry to hear that some pig pinched yours thats a right bummer atb andy
  17. agree with dave the little un sounds like its scared
  18. kellys nets will also be in the countryside marquee demonstrating rabbit net making. if you want to find out how to make a rabbit net come and see us and we will show you how. also we will have a variety of purse nets, poke nets, fox nets, spun poly, rings, boards ,needles and other things you may need for a good days ferreting hope to see you there andy
