I was in Cornwall during spring bank holiday week. I wasn't that impressed with tribute to be honest but the HSD and Mena dhu, from the same brewery, were absolutely superb. Probably the best beers I've tasted out of hundreds of different local ales I've tried.

Why would you need them?. The pup will be able to smell the ball/dummy no problem at all. I have never seen anyone that is good with gundogs, spaniel or Labrador, use scent liquid

I regularly travelled a 208 mile round trip to see the best trainer. Don't restict yourself too much. I would rather save for fees/fuel to see the best once rather than a cheaper one 3 times.

You need to get yourself a good trainer and listen to everything he says. The trouble with these forums is the person asking a question only listens to the advice they want to hear which is not necessarily the correct advice. When you originally got the dog several of us told you we wouldn't get it but you listened to the ones that said they would get it because that is what you wanted to hear. Get yourself a good trainer, of dogs and owners, and listen to every word.

Sending the dog on, I don't actually know what that means?,should not be attempted yet no matter what it is. Get the basics 100% first.

Nearly every post regarding a gundog problem is caused by doing too much far too soon. And then when a answe is posted it is usually disregarded because it's not what the o'p wants to hear. That is why you very rarely see a well trained gundog on a shoot. Regarding a check chord, I have never seen a good gundog trainer use one. Go back to basics and get them 100% sorted. Not 99% but 100% then go.and see a good gundog trainer. If you can find one !!!!
