Every pubs got one of those gormless boring fuckers whos only means of being paid any attention is to say silly things ! The last thing you want to do is retrieve training. The dog can already retrieve! By repeatedly taking the dog to the duck drive you are training him to do what he wants. Why don't you put the dog away before the duck drive?. The dog now whines, which is a massive no-no, and something that is almost incurable. You want to train the dog heal work and steadiness until it is 100% doing exactly what you tell it to do. Then do it some more. Retrieving is the last thing you should be doing -

You are correct, the Germans are serious. But we do somethings different over here. Hard mouth is a total no-no over here but not a problem on the continent. Whining SHOULD be a no-no over here but not a problem on the continent. I would be incredibly wary buying in from Europe.

I think it is the 2013 hpr championship DVD I have here. On it is a ftch gwp bitch that is filmed retrieving a grouse. The dog is chewing the bird so much it looks like it is trying to eat the bird. This is a FTCH bitch !. I used to go to a lot of hpr trials and only ever saw 2 gwp, owned by the same woman, that I would want to own. -

When I enquired about a cocker a few years back they were no dearer that other dogs out of similar breeding (which compared to how the terrier lads operate is still toooooooo dear) & I say that as someone who buys / sells at that same price. Know what you mean mate.it's not really at a working mans price is it. Spending 2-3 weeks wages on a pup ain't practical.stuffed if id spend it on a car!! What is this mythical working mans price?. Everyone I know through trialling is a working man and they all pay good money for a dog
