    as with most pieces of sensationlist journalism, that contains a bit of truth and a lot of Bollox, i'll highlight the bollox bits in red....the underlined bit is the biggest lie though...calm down dear its only a comericial :laugh: The only thing guaranteed about information available on the internet is that it is total bollox.

    A guy's snow skidoo "breaks down" then he walks the 10 mile back to his cabin to bring a new engine. He walks back next day in "half the time because its day light" says the voice over man. Where did he keep the engine whilst he was striding out through 10 miles of wilderness, because he didn't have it whilst being filmed walking. I have just deleted the series link on this one.

    I know the majority of THL members don't own a tv, and most of those that do don't watch it because they are preparing to go and live in the Yukon territory once they have told their mum and dad they are moving out. But does anyone use a free sat box instead of sky?. I only have the basic package on sky, documentaries,family,etc, no movies or sports. Would i still get all the channels on free sat that i get now through sky?

    Seen a few over the years. Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse in the "Saturday night live" days. John Thompson,lee Mack, chubby brown, peter kay. Steve coogan was absolutely shit, i wouldn't go to see him again if his tickets came with £50 tied to them. By far the best, seen him twice now, is frank skinner , absolutely fantastic

    What is the quality of the tripe like from the places mentioned?. I helped a mate mince 50 bellies yesterday,it is now rare for him to get any, and filled my barrel up with some. It was done on a large mince and contains lots of fat. In the barrel it is 1" pieces of green and white tripe and fat. The last i had to buy from a local pet food store, the frozen stuff, just looked like grey solid porridge. I could do with a supplier of good quality tripe

    I suspect that there are very few qualified canine nutritionists that inhabit the hunting life forum. You should feed what suits you and your dogs,not what someone on here tells you. I feed the adult dogs on tripe and biscuit with no ill affects at all, but each to thier own.

    Exactly, hence my paragraph - Cereals and grains, that we class as carbs, are only used in complete dry foods as they are a cheap filler, to make bigger bags or portions nothing else, they do fudge all to your dog other than cause no end of issues. that's what I don't understand. On a site were every other member is a canine nutritionist, no one drinks or smokes, everyone only eats stews made from free range game and veg from Thier own garden, stuff like gain 28 gets a good write up when it is basically a bag of cornflakes.?

    I have done a few batches of the coopers stout but use 1kg of spray dried malt instead of any sugar. I then prime the barrel with dried malt as well. Very nice drink indeed

    Breeding is everything in a digging dog. To get the best bred stock you need to move in the right circles. If you have to ask what the sire and dam have done then you are not in the right circles. The best bred digging stock will,almost certainly, be well reared so you could pick anything out of the litter and hopefully do well with it. The guys at the top of the game value thier stock massivley so look after,breed ,and rear their animals accordingly. They can be a hard to find creature.
