You can see pictures and read about the old dogs in the measydderwen pedigrees. As a training manual it is a non starter. Which dog are you using?, why that particular one?
. I was talking to a chap just the other day I was told of him winning the cocker championships back in the nintys so I seen a few pics on his wall of him with a cocker so I asked was it [bANNED TEXT] did you win the cocker championships? He replied yes! I won it with a bitch. So I asked why ain't you still trailing? He went on to tell me he made up another dog but he was struggling to get runs getting put out for the dog squeaking! Then he was hard mouthed and basically the dog hadn't done any wrong it was just the click!!! Driving a genuine dog man out so Jess that made my mind up about
Cheers for that...
It just got my attention when I heard Kurt was over here...supposed to be a right machine by all accounts.....

I can only apologise for the misleading post i made to start this thread. It was NOT openshaws 99th champion at all it was only his 98th!. Please forgive my inaccurate description. Today he has made up his 99th champion by winning for the second time in 4 days with Hollydrive Kurt to make the dog a International FTCH.
A lot of trainers are not worth a cup of cold piss. A "top" trialler charges £75 for a 1 hour assessment of your dog before charging £40 per hour for 1 to 1 lessons. 1 trainer charges £170 per week to train and board your dog but the trainer has never gained a single award in trials. The best trainer in the country charges £100 per week. There is a huge difference in prices and standard of trainer
I use the equine bedding lay-soft in the dogs sleeping boxes and kennel run. It soaks up well and doesn't squash down. And it's cheaper around here than shavings.
Anyone can set up as a trainer. The first thing i would look for in a trainer is a proven track record, because if their methods don't work for themselves they ain't going to work for you.
In England we would contact the Uk kennel club and explain the situation. It will probably bbe the same in your country?, or the FCI depending on if you are in Europe?
In the last line of the pedigree, next to the bottom, "kennine of rytex". I presume that should read " kennine rob of rytex"??. That dog was the business all right and produced ftch's for fun.
