yeah stroller it is a durham thing spennymoor gun club said they have spoken to the fire arms department regarding this and they are going to do a little bit of safety stuff and shoot 25 clays each time for £10 so not that bad then they give you a card to take to the station to say you have experience hhhmmmmm??????? but all in all £10 not bad.....

up in durham even the clay clubs have never heard of it and they say it is the police passing responsability to the instructor and not doing the job them selfs....

all the clay clubs i have spoken to are furious as this isnt part of the application and to are talking about get basc invoved at the moment regarding it. i do understand the issue the police have but the instructors are saying that the police are putting on there shoulders what youu pay your £50 fee for and they shouldnt have the last say....

Well had police around today to check house and cabinet security said everything was fine but said with only having air rifles for 8 years I would need to go to a clay pigeon range and get some shotgun safety experience so has deferred my licence for 3 months grrrrr. The safety should be the same surely as a air rifle don't point at people broken barrel when walking an so on

went here today and what a cock up at the terrier ring, my 8 year old could have ran it better borders were ment to be on first but in the middle, russels ment to be on in middle but at the end plummers the same young handler ment to be at end but were at the begining no info telling any 1 what was happening, few people pissed off. organisation of a play school!!!! and this show is ment to be the biggest in the norh east hmmmm needs a bit of a wake up call i think....

hi guys and girls i have been looking at buying a lamber 28inch barrel o/u 12g for my first shotgun, would like to use this for both clays and game, tried one out at the weekend and was nice not to heavy, any thoughts please.... cheers

cheers guys well under 60 so 12 bore should be fine lol have already set the motion running to becoming a beater at the local shoots so starting to get the foot in to the door as they say.

hi guys and girls, i am looking at purchasing my first shotgun to shoot the odd clay but manly game, i have own air rifles but that was a few year ago now, so this is me just getting back into field sports again so was looking for some advice on the best way to go about getting licence, what would be a decent gun to buy, i would rather get something that is decent rather than saying in 2 years time this gun shit need a new one lol . also if any one knows the best way to get some land to shoot on up in the north east, i had thought about a syndicate but i know that can be expensive and i would
