cheers pal someone has picked one up and taken it to greater manchester its in a pound over there waiting to be picked up tomorrow, having some tea then getting back out there looking for the other.

A mate lost his two dogs this morning when walking them on moorland near the edge of rochdale. They was both off the lead running free when they put a deer up out of cover and could not be called back. Hours of searching and still no sign of them, asked a local man if he had seen anything he had seen a red defender 90 trying to call one of them to him but could not say if he had picked the dog up or not. If anyone sees anything please let me know they are both black fell types,

very intresting this lads. im a bricklayery but have managed to keep my head down buy working for councils and doing housing association work. just out of interest what trade do you guys think has been hit the worst?

Talking of traceability, I saw on the news tonight that the most of the meat in question had come from romania then to france, then gone to the netherlands, then luxembourg and finally to the UK. Talk about well-travelled food! This kind of thing should be on labels too. just seen the news a place down road from me has been knocking them and selling them on.......... could only happen in good old todmorden lol

just a long shot but was in the pub last night and some lads was saying you can get a license to dock dogs tails. now i thought only vets could do it but they was sure you could apply for a license to do it has any body heard of this? yis adam

its same around here people just kill for killing sake no respect for animals they hunt. leaving digs open with the quarry in the bottom of the hole. then we wonder why the public is against us? the problem is there are far to many idiots in this sport but even more so in the terrier an lurcher game, i can only see it getting worse for the true hunting lads

i have a a pair and they are very good warm and comfortable i have used mine almost every weekend this season and they are spot on i will defo get another pair

it is very warm at the mo mate. i have been out almost every day over the christmas brake and not had a thing, plenty of sent around on top but none to ground just got to keep trying bud. you will drop on at some point

with all the dog theft going on at the mo you might be safer keeping them indoors just my opinion tho

im sick of the vets around by me. soon as they know you work your dogs they do not want to know, all they are concerned about is how did the tail get docked or how did the bites happen on his face, i took my lurcher in once it was a bull x type it had slight fracture on its leg and all they was bothered about was that the dog looked like it had a lot of pit bull in it not the fact that my dog could not walk. and they are farm vets that have been around for ages. everything is against working dog man and its only going to get worse i think

is there a lot of dry stone walls in your area. around here most of the rabbits live in the walls not warrens just a thought thats all mate

i have a few of his books i think they are o.k but i also have books off darcy,harcombe, frain and evan plummer end of the day there just books some are better than others all they are is just a bit of fun, something to read in the summer to stop the wife doing my head in!

it all depends on where you live mate im up on the pennines i have been out this morning all the earths are holding water with all the rain coming off the moor but lucky we have a lot of rock piles around by us so thats the plan for the morning
