    you cant beat seeing a young dog on their first fox

    most memorable for me was a straight forward dig nothing fancy we broke through to find the dog up to a little vixen pulled the dog and dead fox out, i to turned passed the dog to my mate took my eye off the ball for a second and whack! little red had clamped onto my hand I didn't half scream and all the other lads could do was roll around and laugh their heads off at me screaming like a girl, it took an age to get off as well was not funny at the time but it always gets a good laugh in the pub after a few jars! it just goes to show everything with its eyes closed isn't always sleeping h

    there was some smart well worked dogs in the entered class as well which makes a nice change

    cheers for all the help, not done much with the running dogs, im just trying to keep a young lad keen in the sport that's all

    it could well be gnipper was the same when he first got it. it stays buy his side when out for a walk but when on lamp it just wants to hunt up

    Its breeding may have a bearing on its attitude to command?. its got collie whippet gray in it bud

    a young lad near to me bought a lurcher off hear a year or so ago now, this dog I have seen run and it can do its job but it has no recall at all! the kids only 15 and he really should have know to see the dog run but been young he took the lads words for it. this dog is about 4 year old and I don't really know how a running dog can get to that age with no recall, now what im asking is can this problem be fixed or has this kid not got a chance to be fair. it seems like the dog does not know his name what make me think something could be a bit fishy about it any help at all would be fanta

    to be fair I see them at most of the shows I go to fancy something a bit different for a change would like to see some of the big bulls and nice show cattle that sort of thing

    you always here what goes on,...............because those with loose lips sink there own ships..............usually those who don't conduct thereselfs properly don't have permission for long and spoil it for everyone in the end....... ,.............. RESPECT of everything is a major part of dog work which sadly a lot don't give two fecks about.................id sooner pick plums from the apple tree down the orchard....... spot on that mate. and also mate always show respect to the game that you hunt
