    to be fair the reporter has heavily edited what the lad has told them, been speaking to the lads from the rescue tonight at our meeting the guy was over the moon offering money to the lads and wanting to donate money to the club, the dog was a rescue dog but the lad openly said that yesterday has changed the way he sees terrier men and before all this he believed the carp that the people at the rescue center told him, and he told all this to the reporter but they choose not to write it. so if we have only changed the mind set of one person and his family its a start, other papers are goin

    got a phone call yesterday off a distressed pet owner saying that his pet dog had gone missing in a park in Manchester, and the owner was 98% sure that the dog had chased a rabbit or something down a hole, he carried on to tell me that at first he he rung the rspca and they was not interested in helping at all, no surprise there then, so i went threw a few basic checks with him and made sure we had permission off the park warden to carry out a rescue in the park we had the green light so i rung a few members that live close and asked them to go down and have a look and see if they could get a

    just wondering if anyone could recommend anywhere that i could get my lowas resoled the boots them self are fine so no point getting a new pair any where in lancs or west yorkshire would be great or anywhere that you can send them off to. the place that i normally has shut down any help would be great thanks adam

    it must be just the kind of lads who are int the game now, i always dress smart but then the tracksuit mob look at me like i'm the nob saying that tho maybe a full tweed suite is a bit strong for a dog show haha

    we used to use them for the farm dogs years back barrel and chain, they was sound to be fair and my old mans terriers was kept this way as well

    i don't know much about breeding but couldn't you put a out cross with another breed say lakeland or fell then keep then get the workers out of that litter put back to borders, i know they wouldn't be straight borders but if you was getting a better standard of working border type what would it matter we are not the kennel club and then if you kept putting them back to borders shouldn't they return back to type but with a bigger gene pool with fresh working blood just a thought

    its a shame because i really like the stamp of dog, you do hear of yards with workers in tho if there is there really needs something doing to preserve the breed as a worker
