He’s a nice dog to own, and a lovely chilled out temper, But a nut job when in the ground, sadly I can’t claim to breeding him i got him off one of my digging partner At 12 months old as he wanted to part company with him.
My opinion would be it would eventually drop to ground mate, 100s of years of breeding behind it says it would eventually do what’s in its DNA and chase something and drop in, now I’m not saying it would say to ground till dug to but that’s a different question

That’s my point exactly mate why is and good 3rd 4th season dog or bitch that’s doing it’s job for sale in the first place? Let’s have it right every area has it own dog dealers and there always have dogs for sale there getting there dogs somehow
I think Chesney is right I think far to many lads are happy to buy good working dogs without asking to many questions, all these stolen dogs are going somewhere, and lads a buying them that’s a fact.

Good write up Rick as always, do you do a lot of work in the rocks? In the part of the uk I’m from local terrier lads work a lot of rock but as you said it needs a certain type of terrier for that kind of Work
