    I think a lot of lads now are putting the sharptooth on to long bars. Depends what kind of terrier work you do. Some lads that travel a lot on foot just have to make do with a round mouth and that's it.

    It's show what horrible c**ts the human race are. Shame because where I grew up there was never may hares about so when you spotted one is was nice to see. there just starting to make a come back now.

    Shovel bars are mint one lad keeping the sides straight an braking the ground up and the other spooning out.... I prefer them to a sharptooth if I'm honest.

    It's each to there own I guess but for me its about a good run or hunt. Once the dogs caught well it's job done move on to the next. I'm not talking about lads having a pick with there dog and what ever there hunting. I'm talking about them silly twats who take vid at the end.... what's that all about, Maybe I'm just getting soft in my old age lol

    Nothing wrong with a vid pulling a fox or any thing in that case.... but at a distance. Not a close up of a shit lurcher or two taking ages to kill something what good dose that do for the image of the sport? I'm not a fan of any time of book video or magazine that gives the antis ammo.

    Just wondered what happened to these books has Darcy stopped doing them they was a tidy little read....intact a few years back you couldn't keep up with all the new hunting books coming out. they have all just come to a stop.

    Anyone been to ground zero? I was there before Xmas last year and to me it felt very real, Hearing the fone calls left on people's voicemails was the worse. And seeing the damage to fire trucks an the massive steel beams torn in half was fairly moving moment one I will never forget.

    We was on a deep one a few weeks back in very loose sand. My arse fell out I must admit. We was down at 6m and looking down at my mate in the bottom thinking if this gose. It's game over for him

    I think if you was wanting results/numbers you get twice as many from the rocks than soil earths around our area

    Hope ziggy dosnt mind me saying but the lad has got more digging to go at than the average person. I'm with you apache.... If had the choice I'd be going down the motorway for a digging. But I guess you like what you like don't you.

    You can dig to my cousins dog and we have and still do but would I want to start sinking a hole at 15 ft to the dog..... no because I know sometimes he will show. Now I'm not nocking the dog we have had a lot of tackle with the dog into the hundreds. but he's not a digging dog but he's a hell of a knock about dog and would kennel him tomorrow. It's all about been honest with what you have.
