  3. I'll tell you how good Manuka is,its the dogs bollox and that's a fact and don't be so cheap its worth every penny you want the grade 10+ gear and here's why. 7th of June my youngest lurcher got hit by a car he's should've been put to sleep but I had insurance so was kept in and worked on the whole weekend. Come home Monday like this. Now his chest muscles were roe stitched back on and what skin that was left was tacked back in place and apart from 7 days of antibiotics and painkillers guess what the vet wanted used on his open wound......Manuka honey. Here's his wound last week so muc
  4. 1 quart clean water 1tablespoon honey 1 teaspoon salt
  5. Only me in my family really into hunting apart from me old grandad who used to poach to feed 9 kids, started off fishing and they were happy I was out of trouble then came the air rifles and catties and got into some bother so I wasn't allowed them in the house. Got heavily back into it about 5 years ago and they still frown on it and won't eat any of the spoils because it was wild hahaha!!!!! my daughter loves coming out lamping and ferreting and is turning out a fair dog women nothing prouder than watching her work the dogs we get alot of quality time together through the season.
  6. Rescues are seeing alot now these aren't good pets imo there born to run and be in packs and won't tolerate being not excercised properly.
  7. what this fella says brewman. a good quality steel, one of the finer grains, use it little and often, you can get the round or the flat, the flats easier to get the hang of. and a nice fine stone for use sparingly, if you get the hang of the steel you'll not need to use the stone too much. I don't remember the last time I used a stone tbh the diamond steel really is the dogs pink bits
  8. Diamond steel even a blind one armed numpty will get a good edge on it,ive spent thousands in quality blades and you know what..........it's mainly down the the hand wielding it.
  9. Ill happily eat road kill as long as I'm driving or see it still kicking/flapping!!! Haha always stop early hours for ferret food as well Turned out some good grub didn't they
  10. Socks if I got that lot I'd have nothing left on my permo! Good program I enjoyed it
  11. Haha well I don't know where your finding them but rabbit is a bit of a rarity round here last season so I'm still happy to eat the little fluffy buggers as we ain't over run here by any means!!!! Do love a bit of ribeye though
  12. The small organic pig farm behind me(my permo to )has just had there first lot of mangalitzas x Berkshire can't wait to try that meat, always a willing guinea pig
  13. Thought so feck me you must a pro at this boning bunny lark with all those to practice on!!!!
  14. you should allways buy everything on the bone, if you want fillets buy a whole chicken cheeper than 2 fillets, plus 2 thighs 2 wings 2 legs and a carcass for the dogs, thighs are the best for kebabs, de-bone and they go to the dogs, leg of pork de-bone and roll, and another big bone for the dog same with lamb.. if you buy everthing allready done for you you dont only pay more you get less and the dogs miss out. got to say that rabbit on the vid looks top notch i'll be giving that a go I must admit I have never of thought of it like that before.. I like thats a cracking idea with the ch

  16. Hi vicky,we all had to start somewhere and a lad from here gave me a break so I'm happy to do the same for you. I've got permo or can come to you up to you.
  17. Try driving a fully loaded artic from Newcastle to Southampton with no clutch in it you can't stop!!! LolPlease bear in mind we are constantly working against the clock, delivery times, reload times, tacho laws, working time directive and being tracked in the office until you have done the job you'll have no concept at all,you may experience 1 lorry that pisses you off on your journey we deal with 1000's of fucktard car drivers every day......who has the worse deal?
  18. The biggest issue we have is that others on the roads just don't know are speed limits and that all the big firms wagons are tracked and flag you up on screen if your speeding, single carriageway max is 40mph,dual carriageway is 50mph and motorway is 56mph and that is max limit as all the trucks are limited to 56 but some are limited as low as 50 for lower insurance rates.I think you can still be done for using the mike but coppers discretion and the cb is great for traffic issues. Still annoying though isn't it? I bet a lorry that can do 56mph on a motorway gets f****d off if they get stu
  19. A driver shouldn't have to in this instance as that's what indicators are meant for. The Lorry driver should also be reading the road with his side mirrors and if he has to pull out due to momentum and all that bollocks but sees a car coming he should indicate in plenty of time. Not just chuck his truck into the adjacent lane 30 yards in front of a car with a 30mph speed difference! Drivers don't chuck wagons into lanes!!! At 50mph he's near flat out when he indicates to come on from a slip road he's telling you not asking....sounds arrogant doesn't it but if he loaded at 44 ton to slow down
