I use mine a lot but Some say the beams to tight but the dog works it no probs great for smallish fields and better than getting caught with a full rig in your hand Got 3 settings full beam half beam and disco haha Oh and rechargeable at mains or in motor

There great bunny bashers and happily take pests what more do you want?If you after big stuff get a bigger dog we all know what limitations they have but as a ferreting and lamping partner on all things legal blackstaffs will take some beating!!!!

Yep got coats and heat lamps,had 2 degrees in the kennels most mornings last week and this and a couple of light frosts on the grass. The way I see it if I'm cold there cold.

I used to pull for Davis turner out of avonmouth what a shower they they were!!!! I've done some silly things to get home in time for kids b'day etc but I used to do a few weeks away going slightly native and trailer swapping a hay bay/windhoff meet all my mates for a weekend of beer then turn straight round sun night to get the train from Freiburg to Milan to get some kip on the worst train in the world!!!! Honestly I swear the nazis sold it to the Swiss as they felt it was inhuman but ok for truckers lol

That's part and parcel of the job and why black cabs are required to be serviced every couple of months and I may be wrong but I think 2 annual inspections a year(mot) but replacing your brain with a sat nav is different especially in one city.I use a sat nav in the truck but if you saw the amour of uk and European maps I used to carry it was mad. So for the original question knowledge or sat nav,I'm still saying knowledge.

And that dies/lost it/left at home etc etc The point is your livelihood is based on a bit of tech kit that can fail, if you do the knowledge then it isn't needed.

What if sat nav breaks or worse cig lighter melts and can't charge it?If the waiting room was rammed to take the knowledge think how many more cab drivers they'd be if it wasn't there,I this day and age I doubt it's strictly needed but holds off a wave of new cabbies. If sat nav breaks mate you go buy anotherHaving had this happen at night when everything's shut whilst working it ain't always that simple and if your a cabbie how crap does that look.

I was trying to keep it simple WTD,drivers hours,POA,drivers cpc blah blah blah has killed the job along with all the fines etc but the worst thing I have in my cab is tracker and the poxy mobile!!!!!! Russia I bet that was a fun trip.......not!!! Who were you pulling for?
