  1. bit like a clue light just abit wider think a clue light would have abit more beam length on it if that helpsWesty has bull x's, so it's best for him to have a lamp that doesn't shine too far. 50 yards should be more than enough.c**t!!!!!! LolHow is the new deer x pup with a splash of bull added for a bit of fire???? Kranky "Oi EBT your a fat useless potlicker" EBT "have that you deer x breed blind c**t!!!" Hahahaha!!!!!!!(I'm getting mileage out of these) Biglurks I've got a clubriter any chance of a pic of beam if poss?
  2. What beam length and what's the beam like?
  3. Or if you like a bit of quality in your hand all handmade check out midnight on here's range his fieldcrafter looks great and has done a full post on butchering a whole deer using one of his blades.
  4. Bigland boy is 3/4whip 1/4 grey and 24" put to a 18" Stafford and the dogs blackstaff kept are 21 and just under.
  5. Hi BC Maybe maybe not,the guy I replied to was worried about it so said keep up with jabs as piece of mind.
  6. 250m as I said suits smallish fields
  7. I use mine a lot but Some say the beams to tight but the dog works it no probs great for smallish fields and better than getting caught with a full rig in your hand Got 3 settings full beam half beam and disco haha Oh and rechargeable at mains or in motor
  8. There great bunny bashers and happily take pests what more do you want?If you after big stuff get a bigger dog we all know what limitations they have but as a ferreting and lamping partner on all things legal blackstaffs will take some beating!!!!
  9. Yep got coats and heat lamps, had 2 degrees in the kennels most mornings last week and this and a couple of light frosts on the grass. The way I see it if I'm cold there cold.
  10. I used to pull for Davis turner out of avonmouth what a shower they they were!!!! I've done some silly things to get home in time for kids b'day etc but I used to do a few weeks away going slightly native and trailer swapping a hay bay/windhoff meet all my mates for a weekend of beer then turn straight round sun night to get the train from Freiburg to Milan to get some kip on the worst train in the world!!!! Honestly I swear the nazis sold it to the Swiss as they felt it was inhuman but ok for truckers lol
  11. Here he is We can only take him out with no wind or rain as those bandages are a twat to redo
  12. Iam sure everyone knows about bull blood being used in GH many years back but i believe he's asking us what we used before the current trend towards bull and sal blood as none of us are old enough to have been knocking about with Lord Orford , buster. You've not met kranky then??The question comes across like bull x are brand new cross never been done before that's just not true, salukis yes over the last few decades but bulls have been around for ever and my point of lord orford was if he was making a x back then what makes you think they stopped there and started again in the 80's? If I've
  13. Twin splitters and crash boxes......glory days lolYou and I both know it all still happens everything can be got round just depends on your conscience and a liking for prison food if caught
  14. I'd rather the driver kept his eyes on the road rather than trying to decipher a sat nav screen.
  15. That's part and parcel of the job and why black cabs are required to be serviced every couple of months and I may be wrong but I think 2 annual inspections a year(mot) but replacing your brain with a sat nav is different especially in one city.I use a sat nav in the truck but if you saw the amour of uk and European maps I used to carry it was mad. So for the original question knowledge or sat nav,I'm still saying knowledge.
  16. And that dies/lost it/left at home etc etc The point is your livelihood is based on a bit of tech kit that can fail, if you do the knowledge then it isn't needed.
  17. What if sat nav breaks or worse cig lighter melts and can't charge it?If the waiting room was rammed to take the knowledge think how many more cab drivers they'd be if it wasn't there,I this day and age I doubt it's strictly needed but holds off a wave of new cabbies. If sat nav breaks mate you go buy anotherHaving had this happen at night when everything's shut whilst working it ain't always that simple and if your a cabbie how crap does that look.
  18. You'd have thought that, with all those years behind them, someone would've been able to sort out their feet, coat and stamina. Maybe some things just can't be fixed. Im not biting.............. Hahahahaha!!! ?
