Couple of months mate tbh was a right pain keeping on lead all the time. Don't know if you’ve got other dogs but maybe easier if you’ve only got the 1 on routine walks without injured one going ballistic on lead while terrier hunting up. Not got time be walking separate. Unnatural deep cut because of the tile so yours might not be as bad. Did open up in between the healing period but not been prob since.

Healed eventually after glueing.

I had the same similar size/depth…self inflicted from loose broken tile in van. Gave it weeks to heal and would to an extent and then open again. So glued in the end and vet wrapped. Fine since.

Thanks for the in depth reply charts really appreciate that . Get the attraction of the racing and the breeding/conditioning that goes into it. Yeah that was the little dog I had a feeling it was you who posted. Looks almost like an italian greyhound the size of it. Wont be any time soon and my thinking was always bigger weight dog pup for bit of everything on lamp but going the other way now little sharp knock about dog with the terrier bushing.

My next dog will be a none ped or pedigree, prob none-ped. Been Leigh track but unfortunately not many competition dogs that day…mostly pets and lurchers running. Charts what did you prefer for work, pedigree or none-ped? Don’t know anything about weight of lurchers Ive owned. But the open weight/scratch champion dogs what height do they usually average? Are they approaching greyhound height or 23/24tts etc? And at the opposite end the lower weight classes are these even lighter than kc whippets and shorter. Remember someone on here posting pic of lower weight none ped and it w

Even not worked hard mine lost weight on raw alone. Chicken carcass, tripe and table scraps etc. Looked better that plus decent meal. Read before the digesting diff rates raw v kibble but feed both. Don’t over think it. Get the tap water thing but if I drink it I ain't driving the lakes bottling water out of a stream for the dog.

Do them clamps fit a scout lt?

Last lurcher pup I chose didn't do anything by the book. Sent a litter link my pops then went for a brew. Weren’t for him but I decided go and get a pup that night after ringing the ad and 5 min chat. Didn’t think they’d make big enough for me, but biggest in litter still avail. Really well raised and all great condition. He was diff to all the rest no play or anything in him compared to rest of pups and no interaction. Same at home for few days was worried he was a mong and not wired up. I dont mean normal adj/new surroundings I mean vacant . But come round then full of beans like normal pup

Never really fished before just after recommendation’s of a little telescopic that packs down small and clips to a day sack. They all pretty much the same the travel telescopics? Nearly picked up a lidl one today but didn’t pack down that small. Want something packs down 30-40cm. Clip on bag for a wander along the canal with lurcher. Just basic fishing rig. Idea is walk all day with dog along canal maybe camp. Odd pint along the way so dont need/want loads of kit.

Yeah had some great rabbit meals in Valetta also some type of fish over there which is a malta dish but cant remember what it was called. Lampuki or lampuka something like that.

Not too clued up on labs but cousin and uncle have had fair few. Last were half brother sister drakeshead, nothing alike in build but graft all day. Little bitch smash through cover, the dog seemed one of the best dogs on the shoot few times I went beating. We had the dog in its retirement soon started hunting up rabbits, retrieving myxi?. Lovely temperament big rough thing massive feet showed his teeth when happy. We lost him down marsh turned up few days later bag of bones other side of mersey. Remember coming home from school made up when we got him back. Looked unrecognisable other than sc

Yeah agree with you mate completely, dont really regard them as true labs, nothing like the labs we had in past.

If Carlsberg did views…or not ?

Chocolate labs, massive fat things with bully heads, are the most common dog aggressive dog I come across.

Not a lot of in fighting on same rat either wasting time. Saying that seen few facebook posts of plummer Irish terrier outcrosses and there the same…obvs see a lot of rats and they’ll move on after a kill not like mine shredding each one while others are bolting.
