Will saluki crosses run rabbits close to the hedge and hit the hedge when on a run? Or are they likely to choose there runs like some collie crosses Ive had. Im thinking of putting a saluki/grey over my bull cross for a bit more stamina and pace. The only concern Ive got is the runs local are short and can be frustrating, I wont my dog to run when ever I decide to slip.

surely you wouldnt go climbing a speed camera just for 60quid, just wait and see mate. you dont want to ruin your surprise. Its not the £60 Im bothered about bud its having to pay £100's more for my insurnace because Im a young driver and ive only been driving 9mnths. Its a joke already that my insurance quote is 250% of the car value lol. Hopefully I'll get offered one of them speeding courses. Say if youve been driving over 20 yrs how much is your ins likely to go up with 3 points on your licence?

Cheers for the replies. I'll just have to wait and see, a poor start to the new yr. Lamp bulb broke last night so I went the pub instead offered to drive my mates and Im most likley going to be hit the 3 points. Not fussed about the fine. Its not even a proper residential area theres no pedestrian pavements either side neither

Not sure about the speed awareness course, I did one about 4-5 years ago and at the time it was very much dependent on where in the country you had been caught, some counties had taken up the scheme and others hadnt although this may all have changed by now. The speed awareness course when i did it was applicable for speeding fines in 30 zones only so you may be covered good luck I know in my county they offer the speeding course. But will this be for any threshold within a 30 as long as you havent hit 40. I might have to get my dad to take the points and pay his ins premiums. Ive only

If you wanted to run r/h/f/d in the UK preban where would you most like to run or ideally live, where the quarry is in volume? Or maybe youd like to live there for other forms of hunting and not just the running of lurchers.

My dad bred a litter in the 80s using my uncles doberman at stud, dont know the lines. It was the best dog hes owned but he was in his twenties and put a hell of a lot of time into it. Was one of those dogs that was in the right place at the right time. Wasnt a hare dog but knocked a few over a few but didnt see fox. My grandad actually sold the raciest pup that hed kept back but the bitch he was left with turned out well-stamina packed. I havent got a scanner to get a pic up until mon but Ill try and get a photo of a photo. But I agree why reinvent the wheel.

Im a young man and want to leave home but im on a crap trainee salary so getting a mortgage isnt an option yet. Dont want to rent because its dead money and all the new apartment complexes in my area are full of drug dealers and scum my age on benfits. Plus theyd be depressing places to live in and theres no way I could keep a lurcher and ferrets lol. The plan is buying a static caravan for about 10k to live in. You can only stay in caravans on the holiday sites during the hol season and the annual rates are extortionate . So the plan is to either buy a very small plot of land or more like

Cheers for the relpies fellas. Although I like the pure whippets I'll be looking to use one of his dogs at stud over my lurcher bitch. The bitch herself is only 21inch 3/8 bull 3/8 grey 2/8 whippet. So the pups I think would be 10/16 whippet 3/16 grey 3/16 bull. Have any of his studs tackled anything bigger than a rabbit pre ban.

Thinking of using one of his dogs at stud in the future. Has anybody had dogs from his kennels before or used one of his stud dogs. How tall do the dog pups generally make?
