Anyone got a saluki whipp grey dog for stud? Ive been thinking for a while about putting one over my bull/whip/grey?

How are the dogs bred mate?

I wouldnt have a dog with only bull and whippet in them because I dont think the whippet has the frame to carry the bull weight as opposed to the bull grey. I like a racier dog about 23-25, and have a bull/whip/grey.Some bull whippets look to heavy for me.But im sure bull/whippets have no problem doing teeth. If your only retrieving a few charlie a week I think a bull/greys over kill, the bull/whip/greys Ive seen and mates have worked have been better rabbiting dogs and catchers being that bit lighter and agile.

If you bought a plot of arable land could you site a mobile home/static caravan to live in full time? Or would you need planning permission? Hi ive been reading a lot of posts on the shooting section about the q5 lumen 800 lamps. Has anyone used these lamping before or similar led torches? How long do they last, is the beam long enough etc. Cheers

Haha i was just checking the bulb over to see why the lamp wasnt working and my old man back from the pub snapped it lol! So with a normal replacement the bulb just slots in and out and clicks into place? Cheers Gaz

Hi, yeah Ive screwed the head off and it is the striker. But the old bulb snapped off, so I think the legs of the old bulb are still attached. Does the circular metal surround just screw off as well or do I need a little allen key. Sorry im a bit hopeless with things like this lol

Im not sue if ive got the right bulb. Osram halogen display/optic lamp HLX 64625 100W 12V XENOPHOT Also how do unscrew the lamp to replace the bulb. Cheers Gaz

Will saluki crosses run rabbits close to the hedge and hit the hedge when on a run? Or are they likely to choose there runs like some collie crosses Ive had. Im thinking of putting a saluki/grey over my bull cross for a bit more stamina and pace. The only concern Ive got is the runs local are short and can be frustrating, I wont my dog to run when ever I decide to slip.
