  1. Nice bag again Stu, love the Diana. The sidelever will make things easier if you're using the bipod! Looks like a great set-up. Wouldn't mind having a go with a Diana, never even seen one in the flesh
  2. Lovely permission you have there moxy and a great day for it too!
  3. Get on it scramble. I'm new to lamping and need to source a good 200 yard + scope mounted lamp for my .17 HMR. If bits can be sourced fairly cheaply I'll certainly look to have a go!
  4. Nice rifle Mitch and at a very good price. Can't go wrong with that pal. After measuring the groups which pellets turned out best?
  5. Great read lads, sounds like you had a good stroll out with Si and what a great shot on the crow. I was speaking with Dave Hall a few weeks ago and he was telling me that he's perfected the short stroke on both the TX and PS. Apparently a lot of the hold sensitivity is down the the length of stroke on these rifles. ATB
  6. Glad to hear it webster. Those stocks aren't cheap, I reckon about £150 notes Your misus sounds like a good one!
  7. Great shooting and lovely HW77, really love the stock. I want one!
  8. Nice one Ghilies; I'm in the market for one. Have you bought a scope mount and pressure pad for it? If not are they available?
  9. Nice one lads; that pro sport seems to be doing the business Big Mac!
  10. I bet there's not much in it from an accuracy point of view Phil but in terms of looks the pro sport it streets ahead in my view and I love my Weihrauch's
  11. Nice one Phil, how's this prosport performing for you, no noisy squeak coming from the underleaver? They are lovely rifles; you must have been very unlucky with the two that you had
  12. Cheers lads, can't beat springers
  13. I've been concentrating on keeping fit for the last few weeks and been out running every other night so shooting has temporarily taken a back seat. After a ligament injury on Monday I decided to take it easy and have a stroll with the HW77K on my local permission. I haven't used the '77 for a few months since getting my .17HMR so I was looking forward to getting out with the springer. I haven't bagged anything to date with the HMR so for the moment at least, the air rifle still rules king. I sat against a hedgerow and watched a young 1/4 grown rabbit for a while, around 50 yards away.
  14. With a CS stock that would be a winning combination and something that I'd seriously consiser if in the market. I know the aim would be to reduce as much recoil as possible but I bet it would be great in an FAC format too, with the 98 barrel and weight of the helping reduce any muzzel flip
  15. Nice pics, love the one with the sun setting
  16. I think Si had a video on using lasers which I found intresting. Would love to see how to set one up and how it works over ranges
  17. Hi Andy, having never stripped an air rifle I'd be very keen to see some pics of the SFS kit and the piston head that has been referred to a number of times. Would you mind putting up, or emailing me some pictures just out of interest? ATB
  18. Nice picture Darryl All the best to Si and Laura, I'm sure you'll be very happy together
