  1. I think you might be right My pulse made a massive difference at 200 yards, the cross hair was bobbing up and down pretty steadily and the penny was completely berried by my second mil dot on x10 magnification Back at work tomorrow so the fun stops for a while
  2. Glad you liked it Here's another:
  3. It looks like it does the business, I can really see where one of the spotters would come in handy rather than scanning the fields with the nite site attached to the gun. Quite a few members of the Nighvision Forum have made their own spotters to great effect
  4. Well done Toby and a nice looking Rapid too Where abouts in Lancashire are you from pal?
  5. Thanks villman, I'll take that as a compliment
  6. Hi Simon, yes I'd love to see the finished stock almost as much as I'd like to see you shoot it. We must meet up for a shoot at some point, you aren't too far from me Unfortunatley I won't be able to make the meet due to work commitments and only returning from leave on Monday. I really must attend one of these days for the social aspect above all. It would be great to meet THL members and form some new friendships! Glad you are well Simon. Make sure Si captures some pictures of that stock and rifle for me in his footage of the event Kind Regards Elliott
  7. Thanks lads, I was happy with it apart from the odd glitch on uploading. Cheers Si, it's thanks to your help a while back that I managed to improve the production of my videos I'd love to be able to buy better cameras but cost is prohibitive at the moment. I'd love to come to ODP, that would be something to really look forward to. I'm gutted I couldn't come to the last meet in the North West, only an hour and a bit from me What a missed opportunity to meet up with you and Davy! It's a shame that the meet/comp wasn't this week or last as I've been on leave from work. As I work week
  8. Only if they're playing golf! Nice shooting though. Normally I wouldn't advocate shooting against a wall but as you own 300 acres around it, any mishapen ricochet is unlikely to leave your land.
  9. Hi Lewden, it's a Hawke Nite-Eye Digi 4-16x50. Usually never move it off x10
  10. I think it's about 60 odd quid fry. A ln absolute bargain by all accounts and I bet you'd get it cheaper if you bought the gun from him too
  11. Must admit, like the crosshair on my Nite Eye Digi. The Panorama looks like a good scope, nice and light too
  12. Bit of spare time yesterday so created a channel trailer. Essentially it's a compilation of video snippets to promote the channel

  14. Yes it has been a great year. I notice you're a member lf MRPC, unfortnately I didn't renew my membership this year due to lack of funds. It's a bit of a trek for me too for the 25m of indoor range where I can only use my air rifle. A great place to get zero'd up though and if you're into .22LR target shooting it's bob on. Good people and a nice friendly atmosphere
  15. EdgunUSA posted a review of his FX Bobcat on his YouTube channel. The most accurate air rifle he's ever owned. Sub 1/2" at 50 yards. I'd love one at around 30ft/lb
  16. Wow, some fantastic groups at range there. It just goes to show that rifles don't always have to be tuned to get the best out of them. I'm sure a little fettle would cure the twang. Andy on here will, I'm sure, have a good idea All the best with it. Oh and if it wad mine he wouldn't be getting it back!
  17. thanks for the advice deker, so what scope would you go for? had also thought about a mamba lite but have heard mixed reports about them suffering white out etc and would prefer a milldot ret I always shy away from specific scope recommendation because EVERYONE will have their own opinion, what is great to someone will be rubbish to someone else. All I can comment on is what I use, on my rifles (Air/rimfire/centrefire) I have an assortment of JSR, Hawke, Bushnell, AGS at the moment. I have also owned or used Leupold, NF, S&B, Simmons, Falcon, MTC, Nikon and a few others no doubt.
  18. Oh the old split a .22 pellet on a knife edge trick eh?! I filmed a decent shot with the HW77K yesterday. An empty HMR case perched on the tip of some barbed wire lased at 70 yards in a 10 - 15mph crosswind. I had to give 5 mil dots hold over and 2 mil dots for windage on x6mag. Took me three shots mind and when I ran over I found the bloody battery had gone on the camera I was gutted!
  19. Nice going skot, that's a proper takeaway! Lovely looking grain on the HW100 too pal
  20. Yeah lads, what you playing at?!
  21. Nice one Craig, never shot a pheasant, in fact I don't think I've ever eaten one either I've got my brother's S200 for 12 months whilst he visits Oz. I must admit, I recommended him buying one for his first rifle having read so many good reviews. It is certainly an accurate little rifle and at the moment the only PCP I have access to
  22. Nice vid lads, laughed at the kamikaze crow! Lovely looking springer pup too
  23. Loving the IMP. Si, it would be great when you review it to compare it to your SFS HW98
  24. I agree with those comments Maktayla
