  1. Good shooting Stu, looks like there's no shortage of vermin up your neck of the woods
  2. I'm pretty happy with my HMR, it's great for rabbits and long range corvids. Head shots on the rabbits are a must and I've never had any issues whatsoever with copper shards in the carcasses. I've only ever shot two foxes with it and they just rolled over stone dead - perfect, precision head shots at around yards. It just does the business I will definately plum for a .22lr and centrefire rifle at a later date, perhaps a .204 as I've heard very good things about them. More research needed nearer the time though and when funds permit (probably years!)
  3. Looks like a lovely stock. I'd have been tempted to take this off you if you lived closer and I could try it out
  4. I'd be interested in these too for some fox control. If someone could send me some via email that would be great
  5. You can get powerful, coloured torch packages really cheap now. No wires and only small bit of kit to attach to your scope tube. Mine is powerful enough to stretch out to 250 yards, 300 at a push
  6. What editing programme are you using? YouTube offer a free 'shake reduction' function you could give that a try by going into the settings
  7. Top shooting Moxy, you do well with the Rapids pal
  8. Yeah your right Mike the CZ are probably just as accurate of that I have no doubt Yes that's a picture of my rifle on a wall at the farm. Bit of cammo tape on to protect the barrel and silencer and to minimise any shine looks good that pal,i worry that camo tape traps in damp and can cause corrosion.take it you don't take it out in the rain. Don't have it on any more, I used to unwrap it and oil it after every outing. It never got wet

  10. Nice CZ Mike..There's just no need to pimp an Annie
  11. Hi Phil, good to see you back pal. The Pro Sport looks amazing as usual, just make sure you get out and use the damned thing! Well done on the greys, I'm off out for some feral pigeon control with the HW77K tomorrow night. To be fair its be a good few months since I used mine.
  12. I can recommend an Anschutz or Weihrauch HW60J depending on your budget. I recently did a review on my Annie

Top shooting and nice looking Rapif
  14. If you have no criminal record, no mental health issues and have land to shoot and/or are a member of a club there should be no reason for you to be refused! I was very confident when I applied for my FAC, I bought and installed the cabinet after submitting my application. If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about
  15. As far as I know there are two stock options; standard sporter and thumbhole Can the thumbhole stock be used left as well as right handed and are there any aftermarket left and right handed thumbhole stocks available in the UK for the 1517.The one I have is right handed, I'm not sure if they are available left handed but I imagine they would be. Best thing to do if you are seriously interested would be to give your local RFD a ring and ask

  17. Hi Alsone, no worries pal. I'm using PowerDirector10 - it's a really good editing programme. Si Pittaway put me on to it I've only just started to get the knack of it myself, hence the improved production on my latest videos
  18. Nice video Stu You can certainly bowl those rabbits over. Another good result
  19. Nice one Skot. Chrony's are strange things. Rangemaster Li work great in my HW77K but don't seem very consistant over the chrony!
  20. Aye, I think next time I'll throw in a written list of the stats with some footage of the rifle and a quick summary.
  21. Hi Steve, if I was you I'd be tempted to go down the PCP route. If you have a strict budget I would go down the secondhand market and look for one of the following rifles: - AA S200 - AA S400 or 410 - BSA Ultra If you keep your eye out and have a bit of patience you'll also be able to find a secondhand, in test, bottle. I used the 3L variety which I found more than adequate but many prefer the larger ones which are a bit more difficult to lug about. I have family near Blackburn and often visit. I'd be happy to call in or meet up with you and show you my brother's AAS200 if you're
