well ive got a beddy whippet x collie greythound not saying shes the best cross but shes doing well for size 20.5tts at 9 month just hoping she does good this season as its her first =) just got to get her fit(ter) atb

cheers JD hopefully she will be its first time, so just trying to make sure im doing all the right things but she is coming up nicely, listens real well just struggle with her listening when we first go out as shes just so giddy but once she calms down a little she listens like a dream.

donk as you say this would you say to feed her before or after her long walk i normally take her maybe 30 mins in morning then a good hour or so at night about 6pm when would you say is best. thanks

ok thanks, when would you say to try her during the season (i.e month) as i dont want her to start to early and spoil her but tbh she is real mature for her age, but just dont want to ruin her.

ahh ok what about on the bike if i get her jogging at side would that be good for her or would you recommend just normal walking?

this happened with me but it was with my mums cat when ever my mum fed the cat the dog started snarling at the cat and take the food so all i did was instead of separating them i put the dog on a lead and then when she started snarling and growling just drill it into her all the time NO! then after the cat had finish id feed the pup, and it took a while but now i can feed cat and dog at same time and pup wont flicker an eyelid at the cats food. atb

Hey All, Just Wondering Really What Do You Guys Think She Will Make In Size Shes Currently 20.5tts At 9 Months Old, Dam Is A Bedlington Whippet And Sire Was A Kelpi Collie Greyhound. And Also As The Seasons Coming Up I Want To Try Her With A Little This Season So Was Wondering What Sort Of Exercise Do You Recommend And Also What Sort Of Meals Should I Be Feeding Her, At The Minute I Don't Give Her Set Meal Times I Just Keep Topping Bowl Up With Dry Food, As Shes Not A Big Eater.

ive got my whippet pup trained to the whistle i dont run her at the minute as shes too young but when im out walking if anything does get up which sometimes does happen she will pursue it but if its getting to far for comfort ive got her trained to one toot and shes straight back atb

hey every1 just got bk from a walk with my pup and shes just whining and walkingaround the garden on the patio and shes scraping herback paws and shes bleeding cos shes scraping the pads off ive tried to look and see but cant see anything in them i dont no what to do. advice please? thankyou

mine did as well but we went out walking roughly 2 weeks ago and she saw a rabbit bolt from the hedge and since then shes lost the playfulness so to speak and is keen to find anything that moves
