    hey jonny welcome to THL! you've picked a good area to live in for airgun shooting; there must be some clubs around you and people on here will be able to point you in the right direction. In terms of licensing, you don't need a license for an air rifle under 12 ft/lb of energy, anything above that and it needs an FAC (fire arms certificate). for this you need to have background checks, police checks, an interview and it needs to be legally stored (police approved gun safe etc) there's more to it than that I think, but I don't have one. this applies to all other forms of rifle shooting, and y

    Ah yes, the old too good to be true routine. £285 for an S410 is incredibly cheap! We've had a few of those on here as well. Just watch out for stuff in your area; there have been A LOT of scams coming out of your neck of the woods. What member was it on the airgunforum? are they still active??

    a mate as the s510, loves it yeah it's a great gun, but I want to go back to .22 really! Also after something with a thumbhole stock, but not so keen on the AA's attempts at a thumbhole!

    Well, our Mole has a point! The same old problems are evident as with the Graham scams. We have no photos posted here, the spelling is a mess - even with common shooting words - and there is a mistake in the scope information. Is it a 4-14 X 50 or a 4 X 15? I don't think anyone makes a scope with 14X mag but only 15 objective... If this is a genuine sale, it helps to have accurate information on the post, and a location for those who don't know where you live...

    if you are a Graham get yourself down to the meet in Swindon I'm sure 1 or 2 could help you out :laugh: ...although if you do, it might be a good idea to bring a flak jacket; some might want to send a large amount of lead in your direction, to go with the TX you appear to have gained.

    open up the photos of the gun, hit print screen on the keyboard, open up Paint, paste the image in, edit it so you just have the picture of the gun, then save it as a Jpeg. that will get it down to the size you need. BTW, if you can't afford to buy a pump, why are you enquiring about buying one on here? Not wishing to be rude or anything, but people get as irritated with people not following through on sales as they do with scammers, so if you're not able to afford one, it's best not to mislead potential sellers into thinking you are. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/261275-hill

    And in the other post he seems to be waiting until after Christmas to get a 'replacement' S400, yet here is after a springer, with no mention of the AA, not even as a part ex. And, as has happened of late when people spot the discrepancies, he is now disappearing, which doesn't add credence to the post. PIL, you've got a couple of S400's, why not suggest a swap
