I think you're right Rob

I was more thinking of using them as you do ferrets. Is that possible? I've got no idea about dachshunds. I once read somewhere that they use them like that in Europe. So I'm wondering which type they use as I'm thinking that the wirehaired type would be the popular choice???

Anyone on here hunts rabbits with dachshunds? What type do find is the best out of the 3 miniature varieties?

Sorry to hear of your loss... Better security in the way of padlocks, bars, etc. is a much better and cheaper option in the long run than keeping a dog for security.

Does anyone know if any good pedigree Whippets have been exported out to Australia?

Whats the other books he`s written? -
Thanks guys... Yeah Rob, they can be a bit like that. The recall on mine isn`t too bad, but far from good. They`re certainly not a poachers dog!!!

I know that in the UK you dont favour the Borzoi much... But I just thought that I`d put a few photos up of my dog and a mates dog.

This is a real long shot... As a kid (about 35 years ago) I remember seeing a film on t.v. I vagualy remember it, but I would love to know the title of the film. I remember it was about a boy who was a bit of a loner and it had some birds of prey in it. I think they were kestrals. It was a british film and it was in colour. I know its not much to go on, but anyone got any ideas what this film might be?
