Inbetweeners is fantastic. Didn't watch it on TV but ended up with DVD's and they are really funny. Prison break and Lost are both good if you buy the box sets and I also love Ultamate Force.

I have some ferrets from last year that I am looking to rehome. They are all just over a year old and have not been worked yet. I haven't had a chance to get them out or even handle them properly so would rather they went to someone with time to look after them. They need handled more. They dont bite but will nip occasionally and I would not give them to anyone who is new to ferreting as they need to go to someone who knows how to handle them and has the time to work with them. The two males have both been castrated and they all have their jabs upto date by our local vet. Ther

The cream bitch sitting at the back in the middle picture is the one I bought back in January from CN. She is around 11 months now and I decided to give her a spin. I was going to wait a bit but thought id give her a wee shot. First run she ran through four fields then I lost sight and it lived to run another day. Second run and she ran through first field, jumped fence into second field, ran it a bit then jumped back into the original field, ran through it turned a few times, into another field and managed to catch it. To say I am delighted would be an understatement! She totally

I work for myself as a heating engineer installung gas boilers and full heating systems. My dad works with me and I have a sub contractor I use when am too busy. I love my job. I love the fact that I am in control of my own destiny and I am proud of the fact that my company is doing really well. The money is fantastic. I always thought that being my own boss would mean loads of days off fishing and hunting but since I became self empolyed I work non stop.

have you ever not been paid for a job you've done
minion replied to judge2010's topic in General Talk
I have installed boilers for a few Asian families in Edinburgh and "touch wood" all have paid really well and have had additional work from families etc. I have heard of guys being ripped off but I have been lucky. -
A friend off mine's father used to be the shepard in the Pentland hills and he kept four or five border collies and I was amazed at the size differances. They were worked hard and I was amazed at the control he had over them. Very well trained indeed. I was at a fun day with my kids yesterday and watched a border collie show where the handler was rounding up indian ducks. Was fantastic to watch.

Bring your own bag you lazy c**t and stop destroying the f*****g world because you can't be f****d. I mean how hard is it really??? Was actually posted as a joke but the fact I am having to explain this really worries me. On a serous note I am all for reducing your carbon foot print. Hell, I install around 40 solar water systems a year, ground source and air sourceheat pumps and energy saving controls and highly efficent heating boilers. How on earth is not having bags lazy? you are telling me that you alway carry bags on you? do you never stop off for a bit of shopping o

I work for myself, doing boiler installations and heating installations. I always wanted to be my own boss but held off until I was about 29. I left a very well paid job to start up but am glad I did. One peace of advice I would give you is make the effort when you are pricing work. You only get one chance to pick up a job. A good friend of mine is a really good joiner but couldnt get any work due to the way he presents himself. Went to look at jobs in old jeans and all scruffy and gave quotes hand written on scraps of paper. I always wear a uniform or smart clothing when pricing

What make of Pump is it. I would asume it is a small salamander booster pump or Stuart turner pump? There will be a flow switch on it and the can stick sometimes. I have a heating company in Ediniburgh and while we dont do plumbing sometimes we have to remove these pumps when fitting combi boilers. If you let me know the type you have I will tell the guys to keep the next once and you can have it. Cheers

YES I NEED f*****g BAGS!!!!!!!!!! Of course I need bags, how else will i get all this shopping home! Why the hell would you think I have bags in my pockets? No I don't want a bag for life. All I want is a bag strong enough to hold more than one tin of soup without bursting. Does it not really bug you to get asked the same stupid question in every shop? Is is really not easier to leave a load of bags at the checkout and I can pick up them as I need them? The world is going mad!

Info on SGC - Lothian and Borders Police
minion replied to minion's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
thanks for the replies folks. -
Hello, I have the form for a SGC and need to get it countersigned. I have been trying t work out the best person to sign it and wondered if anyone could advise who would be best ( or acceptable) before I apply. I tried calling LBP firearms section but no one returned my call. 1. A friend of mine has just retired from working as the head of education and training for the scottish ambulance service and he sits on the childrens pannel. 2. One of the guys at the bowling club is a teacher. 3. Local shop owner? Would any of these be suitable? I dont know any lawyers, my doc

Wouln't have thought that would be possible with the right to roam act?? Strange one. Also, whats a field? football field? rugby field? Where would draw the line?

3/4 dog over a straight half bitch what will you get ?
minion replied to baz69's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Genetics dont really work like that. The only way to get a 3/8 5/8 dog is to cross a 3/4 collie, bull, saluki etc 1/4 grey with a full grey. As far as I can remember this is the only way you will get a level litter. -
There's a guy in Bilston has a cracking collie cross. It must be about 9 or 10 now but was a cracking looking dog. i got my first lurcher from him 13 years ago. Know a few of the dog lads from Bilston. Pretty small village so you get to know them. There is a guy in loanhead who keeps collie lines but I can't for the life of me remember his name. I don't actually know him but know of him.

CRAIG NUTALL'S BITCH (SNOWY X JACK) match bitch
minion replied to coursing_1900's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
A limited company exists in its own right and the van is an asset of the company. It does not belong to you so it should be okay. -
Was thinking that. Is all fine if all fair sports but can imagine could turn nasty and huge fall outs.
