    plumber terriers

like i said mate there is no other ,this is the last out of the pure line. ok ,he's all red but thats where the pure beagle genes ar fixed and he will be up for stud to aproved bitches only. this is the only chance anyone can have to put the pure line back into thier's. to young yet but i would think that within the next 8 months he'll be up for stud. and only asking £150 fee. add the pure plumber back into your line ? these are the dogs plumber kept from the public eyes Hello bud, Weatherit is or is not a Plummer you have a wee cracker there. £
  2. Are the majorityof Plummers still aggresive with other dogs? I had one (Legion Jade) and she was brilliant with kids and people but would fight anything that moved. She had a tumor and had to be pts and I was gutted. This was 21/2 years ago. I would have another but my wife didn't like the fact that you couldn't let her near other dogs. Is the breed still as aggresive? Do people kennel them in pairs?
  3. Cracking looking pup. Sure it will do the business for you bud. Shame coursings band though, just have to exersize the dog by walking in the fields were the hares are
  4. The black dog in the pic is a cracker. What type is it? looks racy
  5. So Jelous. Looked like a great day. Plenty of fresh air, good company and plenty of game.
  6. But if you were walking your dog over the moors and they "accedently" put up a hare I think your lawer could keep you right in court It wouldn't make a diferance to me - the muts cant catch feck all lol
  7. Fantastic pics. Ive been sitting in an office all day - fancy a swap?? I've never actually worked mountin hare. Saw some years back at the Lamurmuir hills. Whats the law on walkin the dogs on the moors? Can anyone walk them or are they owned by an individual land owner?
  8. What are the Legacy's like off road? Do you need to fit special tyres on them or do guys just use them with normal tyres. I wan a car puerely for the dogs and that can handle a muddy field. Not wanting to climb mountins but dont want to get stuck and look like a fanny!! How are they?
  9. Really nice looking dog bud. Best of luck with it.
  10. Fair enough, I wont pester him then. Il get it when I get it. If anyone has any old copies for sale PM me.
  11. Many thanks. I shall call it in the morning.
  12. I tried to subscribe to edrd las week on line paying by paypal but the payment has not yet been accepted. Does anyone have a contact number so i can find out whats happening. or is anyone else having problems subscribing? cheers
  13. Have you thought about crossing the collie whippet back to a pure whippet? bet you would get cracking little rabbiting dogs. smart and nimble.
  14. cheers bud. Im really chuffed with her.
  15. Hey Luke, Finaly got the pics up for you. Ive had her out twice. First time she was really bad at comming back. Second time she was the same. Been working on her recall and she is great but as soon as she was on a rabbit she totally ignored me. Even after the chase she heard me, looked at me and ttally blanked me. Very frustrating. I am going to keep at it but to be honest im not sure what to do. She is very well trained. will sit in the middle of the footbal pitch till i call her. She comes straight to hand but not if she smells a rabbit. Any adveice would be appreciated.
  16. Cheers for that Stallion She's approx 20" tall. Pretty quick and hyper as F@@K Great little dog. Gret with the kids and great in the house.
  17. Tried to post some pictures but it would appear that I am completely useless with computers. If any one could let me know how to put them up it wopuld be great, or if Someone could PM me their email address I can email them and they could put them up if pos? Cheers
  18. If this works it will show pics of Callie, my 11 month old ped whippet bread by Itallion Stallion.
  19. Cheers, I will take a look. I had an interview today for a job covering Scotland as an area saleman and if I get it I think i will get one as i need my licence. I try not to speed, but sometimes its too easy to do 37 in a 30 and thats all it takes.
  20. I believe you can get sat nav with built ib speed camera detection that can detect hand held police sped traps plus the static cameras. Any idea where you can buy them? My old boss had a camera detector. I believe they are illegal to use, but legal to buy??? Any info would be great.
  21. Sorry i may be a complete fool but what does "bump" mean? Seen it on a few posts.
  22. Yes I have a few pics but I cant find the lead for the camera. I will take it with me to the office in the morning if I cant find it and put her pics up. There are pics of her on thewhippetforum.com under whippets in the field if you are a member on there? They are a few months old though.
  23. I mosty run my dogs in the Borders, Midlothian, East and West Lothian. Try not to go to the same spots to often incase it gets hot. Dont travel to far just vary the locations. Alot of the fields are a decent size and I dont know how the whippet will be if the hares get a chance to use the field - only time will tell. Am just going to take the pup out just now. Hopefully I will get a wee run for her.
  24. What do you feel the best cross is for a working lurcher in Scotland? Most of the dogs around where I come from are lurcher to lurcher crosses. My own current dog is a pure whippet as I only work rabbits and hare and t be honest my wife likes whippets. I have always been a collie lurcher fan and my last lurcher was a 3/4 grey 1/4 border and she was great for me. Fast enough for hare and easy to train. Having young kids and a small house ment we opted for a smaller dog and I am hopeful the whippet will do the business for me. Just wonderd (no reason other than for something to talk abo
  25. Cracking looking dog. What cross is it?
