I do shoot right eye closed due to shooting with sighted guns for years... find it hard to shoot both eyes open as I still shoot rifles with sights...

Don’t know if this has been mentioned before but I’ve shot for years with scoped airguns and been a good shot and pellet on pellet with my HW100k. BUT I’m left handed and now shoot with a shotgun and find it hard to hit much. I’ve just tried the eye dominance test and find I’m a left-handed shooter with right eye dominance. The Hatsan escort I’ve just bought has sight mounts and the question is has anyone shot a shotgun using rifle sights? any tips welcomed its doing my head in......
