    my brother has a working border, and very true theres load of show stuff but little true working blood, a few years ago levi oakes was the man in the know with these little tanks! can be very hard though! to hard in some cases!

    right lads and lasses, this new pat pup I've got is 5 and half months old. Over the last month this dog has just turned into a true game little sod! Whilst out walking and moochin with other dogs he will be in cover, nose down hunting. I dont think he even hears me calling him. Today whilst out with me at work, he was in thick bramble cover for nearly two hours in hunt mode, when I mean thick cover, the spaniel I had with me couldn't even push through it.     why westie pal u shud of used another russel or lakie if u wnt it for bushing gud luck wif it anyhow. I didn't breed it, I found out a friend of my mate was selling the pups so had a look at them and liked it well enough to give him a try. my grandad kept a westie x russell for years! the dog was a machine! he was well known locally, he was stolen at about 8 years of age! shame crackin dog, good look with yours mate!

    my mate has got a patt x jack, its funny when people ask him what he is, he always says oh hes a patterdale terrier, never mentions the half jack, hes a funny lookin thing though, his arse is as big as a horse!

    Agree with skycat on the galv! digging any other wire netting 12 inch into the ground will just rot over time! when you think your saving money buy doing it on the cheap doesnt always work, a rotten fence that keeps nothing in after a couple of years, will cost you more in the long run! happy fencing!

    Get to know who`s who in the terrier world.Just because they go on this site does not make them good terriermen.Lots on here would not know a good dog from a chicken sandwich.If a pup is free it does not make it a good pup.The top lads,with the best stock,do give pups to very close friends and would never dream of selling.BUT a lot of lads like to jump on the top lads band wagon by saying "we dont charge for pups because we are in it for the dogs not the money" ,when really there stock is NOT worth selling !!!!.Tread carefully and do your homework. i think the nail as been hit on the h
