  1. yes lurcher x collie. He's one ugly dog your right also blind in one eye,but still loves his work. Over 7 year old now, still enjoys being on the fells hunting.

  3. One I go out with, is exceptional around a hole. But not so good of back of the van. Not quick enough it just Lacks speed. Handle anything as good as a big bull x though and she's a single handed bitch.

  5. yeah I've seen a few of the same litter on pictures and videos. There all a good stamp. Did you see Mia? I like the Pures myself, my lass wants one haha she loves the ones on this thread. Keep the pics coming ??Mia was up in the house so didn't see her today, she a lovely bitch seen her as a pup and she been top class for the lad all her life loads seen her and rate her amongst the best they seen ?yes everyone says that. Was talking to a lad who has seen her run loads. And said she's in top 3 dogs he seen run and he's been in the game a good while.. I hope my pup can do her justice this comin

  8. Only way to get them proper fit is grafting in the field. Bike, tennis ball, good walks get them to a certain level then just be like a plateau or when fully tuned a good way to try sustain it.... Summer just months of relaxation, let them excercise them selves on the beach or in the field. It's easy getting a dog to peak fitness but keeping it there is the hard thing imo, winter a long time to keep peak fitness. Also changing the diet when out of season to "not" so good biscuit, meat and changing it back to better food come winter will help along the way. Just my view on it from experi

  13. Here's mine, nearly 11 month old.. I'm looking forward to getting her started, she certainly ticking plenty of boxes so far. We have a great bond too which is a main thing for me.

  15. alpha puppy, greyhound crunch (which I soak) pasta (used as a filler), chunk of lard, adding couple tins of sardines in a week. As for excercise nothing strenuous at all yet. So I do think I can improve her condition by some way yet.
  16. thanks pal, and yeah great spot to live in Lake District I take as much advantage of it as possible. Plenty hikes, and walks. 99% don't hahaErm, not sure about the woodys, I've never noticed and don't know to much about it to comment. Sorry. All I do know was they ate all the food in seconds and ruined it for the chaffinch and jay etc haha
  17. not as busy as the ther shows locally, such has flimby but still decent turn out. Plenty terriers & whippets there aswell as lurchers.Has flimby been and gone already or has it not been on yet? I was gonna go last year but was working so i couldnt make it.yea the first show was last bank holiday in May, they usually have another one with the racing aswell back end of summer.

  19. yes that's the place, but now they have cameras linked up to iPads so get a good look at them. All really interesting stuff.
