  1. I tried not to go hospital Sunday but it swelled up double so the missus whisked me off. Lol. Don't envy you doing yours 3 times though. it's really weak now, I've rolled over it a few times while playing football or training. Seems easier to do so. Hasn't been so bad for a while tho, but starting to get problems with my knees. Been Physio and they said its with compensating for my ankle. Hasn't stopped me though.
  2. I sprained my ankle couple year ago in Ibiza on the first night over there. Didn't bother getting any treatment until I got back. Didn't Wana waste time sitting in a hospital haha done my ankle 3x now, once on holiday twice playing football. It kills like
  3. not 100% sure. Gypsy about 26" and Mario is probably 28" would have to confirm that though...And done nothing with any of them, odd rabbit here by here but not out hunting on purpose. They just aren't mentally ready for real graft, bad habits could be learned and could do with out it, so hopefully waiting could prevent that and get a hassle free hunting career. Haha How's yours coming along?
  4. i never noticed until now, yeah it's unusual position almost looks ready to snap doesn't it?
  5. yes it is max, it's all good fun aswell which makes it better. Running free for over an hour, with the dogs enjoying themselves is up there with the best exercise i could give them.. It Keeps these saluki types stimulated and there minds ticking over haha
  6. mine will blitz his all day long haha
  7. One of the best ways to exercise the dogs in my opinion is on the beach when the tide is right out...letting them stretch there legs on warm days in the deep sand and burning there muscles and lungs then there the sea water to help cool down on these days. Literally over an hour of non stop running about. Gypsy, Mario, Swift
  8. I have been getting myself fit running 4/5 mile a night and taking the dogs with me. I'm not rapid but the dogs are in a constant trot. I'll be going on the bike shortly for a few mile and stepping it up as season draws closer.
  9. Yes he's coming to, finding some gears just maturing a lot slower than gypsy which is expected.
  10. Smart dogs mate. They from same litter, or same sire?same litter, red one is fuji of here. Black one is mine.
  11. Time to start preparing for the season coming, plenty positives from these 2.... Both dogs enjoying a good summer before they realise what a hard winter feels like...
  12. 11 month old enjoying the summer. Good gallops on the beach, just learning the basics no rush whatsoever... Physically she's strengthening and mentally getting there I've noticed. Another couple month hopefully have the finished article...
  13. im sure the reds are smaller. Well they seem smaller. Going out tonight to take some pics if I'm lucky I'll hopefully get a pic.
  14. Probably one of my favourite animals, so good to watch. There is apparently 8 in one little area near me so I'm quite lucky to see these little fellas quite a lot ??? there a black squirrel a few mile from me according to a woman who sees it a lot... I've never seen one has anyone else? Feel free to add red or grey even black squirrels...

  16. Wouldn't rush a pup into much pal, take it easy. Good going anyways
  17. What cross?saluki/grey Any puppy photos?ill try get you some, he's not my dog so only have a few pics.
  18. Wouldn't be a bad price out of proven workers. But non workers is taking the piss they shouldn't even be mated.
  19. spot on, imo it relates to a lot the dog men I know.. Travelling hundred of miles not just in a season but in a week, walking miles and miles a day up the fells in horrendous weather, training a dog every day in all weathers, lamping in cold and wet weather of back of the van or walking, keeping it up year after year even decades is a obsession. Slightly mad aswell, but I think you need that bit of madness to keep going. We probably all know someone who fits the description wether of here or personally..
