I do them regular. Just not as much as I would like. Going hiking tomorrow taking the lurchers and beagle pup. Just walking nothing else. Hopefully get a few pics.

I had my pup practising in other ways from a young age. Seems to have worked. Everyone methods are different hahaha

Keeps you fit anyway. The local foot packs here are mainly harriers and it's only a handful of the more keen lads that keep up. The rest spend half the time driving about, trying to find out where they've gone.with the hunt I've been with, it's not so the young let that lads keep up, it's the old school guys keep up. And there only ever a handful.. Most the younger ones drive about. I like being up where the action is all the time. More of a challenge and enjoyable.

yeah hopefully be good fun though. Had a good weekend last week, hopefully many more to come.

thanks Frankel and he sure did he's a bit sore off where me mates bitch wiped him off his feet lol but still mad keenwhen I was young my dad used to take me and my brothers out with him, and we all still hunt together now. seen a couple and they weren't that good. Not as quick as the collie lurchers on the day, and not as brave... Good hunters though in woodland and fellsideI'd have to see the parents working first like ! This foxhound X bull grey is suiting my needs at the moment great hunter and plenty of guts ! Never be a lamping dog which doesn't bother meyeah suppose so eh, just have what suits ya needs. Don't listen to me, you know yaself every dog is different. Just thought I would put my experience of this type forward. I like that hound thing of yours, very interesting dog. Would suit me on these Cumbri

i wouldn't class as what I done today as a mooch, them beagles of my brothers only hunt one animal. And we were there on a job. I would class a mooch as walking some land and if I see something bonus if not then it doesn't matter. I can't really write what a want to say so hard to get my point across.

Them beagles are smart frankel. Bet your pup learnt a lot deffo yes I like them too. Yeah she's learning all the time, she's no point and slip dog anyways. Loves to hunt up, she needs the practice for when I'm out with Fuji and boots this season. don't forget the pom.haha that Pom a crocodile, we will need it for sure.
