Slaughter squad u asked me a question so i answered it genuinely... So could you return the favour. What dogs do you run and put a pic for us too see??
-
thats why dons half sis sits in the kennel. She doesnt fall short.
-
all i do is lamp and mooch in the day... So thats why im sayin don suits me for what i do. If i was a fen runner i would look into that type of lurcher. Its just horses for courses...
-
i didnt take it as a dig. To be honest i see why folk call them collie xs.. I dont give a feck what anyone calls them i am just sayin we want to call ours minshaws so we do. Simple as that. If i wanted to call them collie xs i would but i dont.

fair enough and good question. Firstly back to a baseline for ourselves and our friends across the water in ireland. And we had the opinion he would throw good pups in the future which is the way we are wanting to go. Secondly for what we use him on he is doing pretty good so i guess that could be a fluke or just good at it. He also takes everything that has been asked so far. And like ive said before i think he has more to offer. Thirdly bulpa was the same breeding and it worked, why not try it again and reproduce another. Fourthly the pace we knew he would lose was a chance.

Ok the fair enough. So i am taking to one man with one username. I said there was improvement from him as u said there could be unheard stuff to creep in or turn into a jacker. So i am basically saying there no chance of that. Towards the end your saying u have a lurcher linebred for many year and you still need convinced hes the next best from the line. Sounds pretty simiar to the situation with don. There is many of good dogs carrying this name tag "minshaw" Maurice, venus, diesel, just to name a few. So me saying don could be the best will just be my opinion. Any pics of yor

I dont realy understand were ur going with that post?? Is it a fact, a dig, or just an opinion
-
No offence bunnys but who r u?? What dogs do u run? U post alot and give plenty advice and criticsm. Ive probably missed the posts about yourself. And sorry if i have just trying to know who i am talking to so i aint talking to anybody with different usernames. I aint on the defence at all i just posted a few opinions not aiming at anyone. Just adding my piece. The bitch has bulpa in her 3 gens bk in between is lurcher/lurcher. In my opinion i cnt see him jacking in the field. More and likely death will be his way in the field due to the do or die action in it. A agree collie inf

The thing that people cant or wont grasp is minshaw is a nametag and NOT kc reg. The way folk carry on about them and slate them beats me. Its not as if pups are being sold every week from the same puppy machine. Majority are from a honest bunch of lads who actually take pride in there lurchers and graft them, wether its to the hilt or for there own enjoyment...and this has happened for years and years. The history behind them is another thing that i think is unique with them.. Like every "type" wether its bull x, saluki x, beddy x there is shit and there will be jackers. these" minshaw

why when her mother was minshaw bred and her sire is half. They have bulpa in there breeding numerous times on both sides and a bitch called kes in there breeding plenty. So basically bred from what is rather a short list of minshaws and only 4 generations from blue. Not too bad after all them years. Just saying it how it is really.. And joe is prob the man with the purest of minshaws with being closest to blue/bulpa. Oh and my brother ginny spinner not as close in generations but just minshaw to minshaw all the way... I Still class mine as minshaws.. Just a nametag not kc reg.

perfect examples is the dogs from flimby that look like pure salukis just have a merle colour in some of the litter. There is barely any saluki in them and more deerhound... And beados bitch tizzy. She looks like a beddy x when in reality she is more saluki grey with a touch of beddy.

Not sure Arron of the fellow's name who bred her but he own's the dam who is Jess and Frankel/Andy's Don is the sire, Is there many pics of jess up in the field. Seen a few with pups I think. Andy if you've got any put some pics up with jess with her graft. What was/is jess work style like no pics of jess, the lad who owns her doesnt have any pics of his dogs. He just keeps himself to himself. I have never seen her graft but my uncle has and a few mates have they all say she is super quick and decent at her job so i trust there word.. She has only been used on rabbits and big

Some good posts lads and its good to see advice been given and taken on board. Like i said to the lads with these pups or pups from the last litter patience is the key to these kind of lurchers. Keep up the good work millet

ye she has. plenty more to give this season, i dont think we have seen the best of her yet. she is very stylish running rabbits etc..and she is stone mad on the bigger game. just a lamp dog for us but she has taken plenty day time gear... truth is she doesnt like the pearly whites ive tried her a few times and seems to come worse off so not going to try her again.

don is actually looking pretty well and is full of beans. where as swift is casting a bit but other than that and being in season she is feeling great in herself. both are kicking sods 10 feet high and are coursing about like 6 month old pups.. i have been having some fun on one of my farms letting the terriers & lurchers hunt and bolt the rabbits a few rabbits. i am only doing it for the terrier pup its bringing her on loads and it seems to be working. and it keeps the lurchers ticking over. marking a rock pile right amongst it result of the bolter

smart animals them freelance. i like the beddy x, i prefer the stronger types than the little weedy ones. the bitch in the top pic looks like the kind i would go for. the one i had would give everything, she didnt quite have that top gear. at the time she was running with Jack & Chester so it was pretty hard competing with them.

don & swift

i would only ever do summer lamping/hunting if one of my farms asked me. even then it would be an half hearted attempt really. i am looking forward to this season, just to get back out with the dogs and to see/read about dons pups exploits.
