    agree hares aint easy BUT theres a huge difference from day to night. not heard of many coursing dogs catch 16-20 in one day with 1 dog. night time 15+ is not impossible. my bro in law with his barny bred dog knocked 17 in one night. best in day 4/4. massive difference there. ive seen some prity poor failed day dogs catch hares on the lamp.sounds some animal that Paul.

    This is my brothers bitch FENN. She takes anything single handed, big heart in this bitch. Was out with her the other day and retrieved 2 shot big rabbits she ran well. She used a lot with the terriers. No one trick pony.

    I think any cross brought up with ferrets and working holes will be handy. My mate uses his border terrier to work the nets and mark holes. When we go we generally just bolt so I like a good marker, that good jumper and steady around the holes with no slip also good retriever and soft mouthed.
