  1. i camped at honey moon bridge just out of arrachor. Was perfect for my hike up the cobbler. I would love to do the wild camping be awesome especially up there where I was.
  2. Some of the residents on the way up to the cobbler... Just stood and let us take pics. Was good to be in there company for 15 mins before they headed back away from us. They stood about 50 yards away too.
  3. ive been told to go that way for even better scenery. I bet it's like paradise where you are.
  4. haha i know, but I've got to have it on the big hikes. He's way fitter than me and I'm in my prime supposedly. Haha
  5. Well had a week of work and planned in a trip to bonnie Scotland, I live in the Lake District so the hills and water, views etc couldn't be beat. But up where I've been around Loch Lomond & Loch Long are on par if not better... The weather helped, was red hot and even managed to catch a tan. I took the pup left my old bitch swift in the hands of Fuji... Chuffed with the pup really, was good to get her one on one and hopefully learnt a bit while out. Hiked over 20 miles on the mountains. Managed a Munro and a corbett in Ben Lomond & "the cobbler" aka Ben Arthur. Seen some of Scotlan
  6. Up Loch Lomond myself, gorgeous weather. walking a few hills (Ben Lomond, cobbler) with the pup.. can't believe I've caught a tan in Scotland haha. I wanted a hotel with a view Breakfast with these views atop of Ben Lomond

  11. Smart them, I got a lurcher type ornament from dunelm. Got a couple hare ornaments from there too

  13. Get ya self up first light, then no one is about. I went up today 12:30pm set off from the bottom. Was loads of people about. I wana do hellvellyn & scaffell pike next and get them ticked off the list. Top of skiddaw ya see this... That is called long side going toward Carl side Steep climb up to the first peak, gruelling at times
  14. Hiked skiddaw today with the dogs, 4th highest mountain in England a believe. 3000+feet high. Was a good day, hard graft though. Some amazing views apart from at the top could barely see 20 yards. Climbed 3 different peaks on the way to top of skiddaw summit.

  16. thanks, yeah be wanting to work her come September ideally. But if she's not mentally and physically ready I'll be doing her more harm than good.. Good long summer learning the basics first though. I'm enjoying running her on the lure, it's defiantly getting her running technique sorted if nothing else.
