I got a whippet grey pup here 16 weeks meant to have boy blue in its sires side only going off the blokes word though.Pups coming on well she's going to be quick that's for sure.Anyone got any pics of boy blue out of interest?

Cheers no complaints so far well happy with her.Ye it was the litter was advertised in the countrymans weekly guessing its the one you mean?the bloke was sound his dogs were well kept as well fair play.What cross pup did you get in the end mate?ye that's it, that bitch is a cracker.And I originally wanted a collie whippet grey but couldn't find anything, and I ended up with a collie whippet grey x saluki whippet grey. Never had saluki before so thought why not, and she's not a bad pup, abit vocal, very very fiery , brilliant recall n retrieve but she's only 11 weeks old, get her round some cat

nice one darbo she's a good little pup natural retriever and excellent recall can't compain,hopefully should turn out a good one.

Cheers blackmaggie,yes it was a good litter pups were all in good condition.She will be out with me everyday really pleased with her so far,down to me now to put the time in and get the training right.I'll post some more pics as she gets on. Thanks she is whippet x greyhound mate. Sire and dam were both whippet greyhounds she's not a first cross.

Thought i would post a few pictures of my pup out and about.She is 15 weeks old been great so far walks bye my side when out off the lead,good recall,retrieves spot on,good with other dogs and people.She has been really easy to train so far and seems to learn quick.Just getting her used to livestock at the moment. ATB

Sounds a good dog bonehead there definitely popular dogs,most the litters I seen when I was looking had saluki blood.

I like the look of some of the saluki types and I know some lads love them,you here loads of mixed opinions on them.Same as all crosses really.Each to there own,they have get great stamina and a lot seem to have good feet,good traits in a working lurcher.

You not a fan of the saluki types northenlite?haha.. I always hear mixed opinions on them same as all breeds i suppose,heard people not liking collie crosses etc.Suppose its down to personal prefference isn't it. What dog or dogs do you run mate out of interest?

I'll post some pics up soon shes a brindle bitch sire was 26tts whippet x greyhound and dam was 22tts whippet x greyhound,sire had boy blue in his breeding so i was told think he was dave sleights dog,who knows if thats true not that im bothered.The bloke i got her off only bred his bitch to keep a pup back,and his dogs were well looked after.Just down to me now to put the time in to her.

get some we a high saluki content have more prey drive than you could want and speed Heard a lot about saluki bred dogs being deaf,really headstong etc.I have never owned a saluki bred dog myself so couldn't comment,but i wanted something pretty biddable so i went for whippetxgreyhound from workers.Used to go lamping with a bloke that had a saluki x bull x grey x wheaton x grey,was a good bitch but used to bugger off sometimes on the lamp and not come straight back to him not sure if was due to the saluki in the mix or down to the bloke who trained her but she had good prey drive no doubt a
