    Not to be putting you down mate but I hope your dogs are crap if your inviting everyone over to have a good look at them. Take a look at the list of missing dogs on here and decide if your willing to add yours to the list.

    Did you look at the picture? It's chained in place infront of a pile of crap. Look at the dogs face and figure it out dogman. If you can't tell if a dog is happy or sad you should get a little book of facial expressions and carry it around with you. Wasnt even going to waste my time replying to this, But im not having this said. My dogs are very well looked after, and want for nothing, and I would say happy.     How heavy are they etc though it does not give of much info i wouldnt like to pay that and end up with 2 concrete blocks to lug around 15.2kg but I'm sure you can get one with less ah that weighs a good deal less and cost less, just proving a point on how much they overcharge us poor hunting folk

    I wouldn't mention her keeping another dog, what if the pup ties with it's mum or "accidentally" gets pregnant. She should just get the bitches fixed and if she wants another dog in the future I hope she will chose a male. There are plenty of good dogs out there being bred by responsible people that she can get one from.

    Ok, common sense....how do you get a puppy to stop whining? I would give it things to keep it calm and leave it for short times just like above but if the pup whines when you are home I'd use a sharp voice to start and after that a spritz from a water bottle.

    Sorry to hear about your bad luck mate, I don't know the price but I'd shop around since the price for things is very different between one vet and another. I know time is important but you could save a bit of money just making a few phone calls. What happened to the mongrel?

    What cross do you have? I'd think something with grey and a bit of bull in it would do well.

    You might want to seperate them ferrets if they are together just in case it is ear mites.

    The stuff is ear wax the ferret could have ear mites or an ear infection. Try cleaning it's ear and look for mites.

    I think people see dogs as fluffy sweet pets not as the predators they are whereas falcons will always be seen as hunters since the ladies can't put clothes on them and do their nails.:kiss:

    It is no good having one dog bushing once the rabbit bolts the dog can't get out quick enough and most of the time the dog doesn't even see the bolters.

    Sorry stabba have to disagree with you there. If they can afford their toys then they can afford a proper weapon or at least a big club to whack the coyotes in the head with. I hope they get bitten and have to get rabies shots.

    How are the kits doing? You should be able to tell which one had them by looking at their nipples. Did you take the hob out?

    I've heard of it but I would get him out of there to be safe. Once you figure out who the mother is you can take the others out too. How much do you handle your ferrets? It was easy for me to see when my jill was pregnant.

    you dont need a ferret finder if your ferrets are good workers or like you they will come back ouy but if they dont come out jus block the holes up and go back a few days later but if it still doesend come out or has escaped from warren jus go get another 2 they only cost about a 5a for a pair or people will probz give yousum kits for nothing I hope the people selling and giving away their ferrets read this post and you can't get any new ones.

    Too right Stubby, even a fit ferret needs help with that much work especially in the heat chasing young rabbits. Do you offer your ferret a drink after every set?

    Animals put up with smells of predators if they like the area they are in. Plenty of times you can find fox dens and rabbit warrens right by each other. Although the field mice have been avoiding my house since I got ferrets.
