  1. If you have a pup it would be nice to see them? I own the sire. Good hunting Sirius
  2. beauty is in the eye of the beer holder :-)
  3. I am mortally hurt people don't like the look of the sire lol :-) he's luffley, one day he might even catch a wabbit....
  4. 8 is a good number! Should be some nice pups thrown by this pairing.
  5. My bets on 8. I always think 6 or so is a nice number for a litter.
  6. It's down to the owners. My ideal is a dog and bitch which have 3 - 4 good seasons behind them. Or work to the standard I want. But theory and real life can be different.
  7. Was that when she was in the New FOrest Sirius? A year or two before she died, she was living overseas I believe at the time.
  8. You are no David Bailey are ya socks lol Here's some older pics of the sire And a couple more recent ones.
  9. I met her once and I know a lot about her, some great advice but also take it with a pinch of salt
  10. I learnt everything from reading merle and rogues and running dogs lol maybe that's where I went wrong lol Personally I think Jackie Drakeford a book has a lot of good sound training advice in it. A brilliant read in John Fishers Think dog if you are into dog behaviour.
  11. I think the ideal would be to find a dog from the same lines. But he is last of the Mohicans. I would not want to use a pure grey to this dog, a good Lurcher type even a saluki x grey would be a better option than a grey IMO .
  12. Looks a lot like his mother, cracking dog and snaps.
  13. The title Sounds like a lyric from some gangsta rap record lol apologies. Right I have a dog here many members will recognise as I have posted a fair bit over the last decade of his progress. He's knocking on 10 years now. I bred the dog to a bitch 4 or 5 years ago, with the hope of having a few pups knocking around from his bloodline. However my good friend had a bitch from the litter and the bitch died last year (tetanus) I believed she was the best from the litter, so that was that. Anyhow the long and short of this post is, I will make the dog available to stud ( to the right p
  14. I am looking for a powerful torch with a tight beam. Although I like the clulite lamps I may as well take the 170 for the size of it. Anyone used the Snipersytems mega torch? http://www.globalrifle.co.uk/globalrifle-dogging-torch-500-lumens-57-p.asp
  15. I have a ultra fire t6 zoomable, not bad for the odd mooch. But is there a better option for a budget price out there? I have always found the tracer 140 or 170 perfect for proper lamping I just want a torch for a few runs? Recommendations and feedback appreciated. Good hunting Sirius
