    I didnt think it made a difference when u did just personal choice and my dirty little fit has been known to go bk and eat the guts. I alway empty bladder as soon as and he needs a shape knife haha can't b to cheeky Iam sorting his only daughter out

    Hi, was out ferreting this weekend and invited the father in law who's a shooter, when we done the first warren and lifted the nets he went to gut the rabbit I told him not coz I find the smell is strong and the ferrets seem to stay out the warrens more. At the end of the day we gutted them and he complained that it was hard to gut them because the stomach had swollen and u should gut them as soon as. What's ur views on this? Is he right or doesnt it make much difference? (And I had no problems gutting them)

    I love the look of this dog Johnnyboy mate looks like a real old school lurcher I think one of these crosses is for me next Yes mate she's got that traditonal look about her but looks don't put game away, always nice to have a dog thats easy on the eye but working ability should always come first.     Thanks to the people with all the proper advice u was right the dogs doing pucker. I never claimed my dog to be the big bad fox taker I was unsure on the situation done what I did asked for some advice and now look I've started another show us ur bull greyhound fox killers thread. My dogs got some scares now does that mean I am proper hard aswell?

    Half hour walk in the morning before work, then 3-4 mile bike run in the evenings after work then work him all weekend then Monday just a walk in the morning and a long walk in the evening. If I get a day off tho then I go ferreting

    I think that's what u want from a ferreting dog and she will use her sight when them rabbits start bolting

    Got up early this morning before it got to hot, there was a bit of farm land I wanted to have a look round so I grab a ferret and 10 nets and with dog in toe I went. When I got to where I wanted to b which was woodland next to ploughed fields archies nose was down, we went passed a few warrens and it wasn't looking good not much about heavily worked I think. Then Archie was 10 yards in front and sniffing hard on a hole he gave a slight wine I took that as his Mark as he had never Mark for me before ( it's his first season) didnt have enough nets for all the holes so hoped for the best, ferret

    My whippet x greyhound caught his third tree rat today but this time got bit only a little slice on the lip it's stop bleeding and ain't bothering him, iam just wondering if he can catch anything from them

    Keeping ur dog kennelled over the summer means ur dogs just gonna take longer to get him in shape when the season starts. I rest mine for the first month after the season then go mouching and taking care of the tree rats. I try and keep him out of the sun on really hot days

    Well done mate. My 12 month whippet greyhound smashes greys he's had two so far he's doin his bit for the reds. Touch wood hasn't had a bit yet so don't know how he'll react.
