    twotwothree thats awsome mate good for you im out shooting foxes about three to four times a week i hope they give me an open ticket as i got loads of farms i can shoot.i will let you know how i get on.

    hi i would like to apply for an open ticket.i have been shooting all my life but have only had my firearms for 2 years would i get an open ticket and if i would what do i say to the firearms dept to get an open ticket.i have loads of farmers asking me to shoot the foxes on there land but i cant because the police have to come out and have a look at the land first.to be fair it is a pain in the butt

    hi richmcgin yes i am shooting home loads i have only just started reloading and i have not tried many rounds.I have been thinking of making batches of 5 rounds 24,25 grains of powder and see what ones shoot the best.i am using hodgson varget powder and 50 grain hornady.i know tecnique has a lot to do with it some times i feel my self flinching something i have to work on.and pulling the trigger is something i do but i am used to shooting shot guns so i think thats where than comes from that is also something i have to work on do you have any tips for me.Thats real good groups fair play to y

    zeroed my rifle a inch high at 100 yards as you said i was getting inch groups.i put the target out to 200 yards and i was geting 4 inch groups not so good

    that should be on at 200 then should it.im just getting ready to go now im out for the day and nite then shooting rabbits and foxes got the night vision ready awsome bit of kit for the foxes

    hi i am going to zero my 223 today whats the best distance to zero at 50/100/150/200 yards ? im shooting 50 grain heads with 26 grains of powder.im going to be shooting foxes from distances of 40 yards out to 300 yards. Thanks

    same here all my shooting has been off high seats with good rests been out a few times with the sticks but cant get on target just need to practice more i think like you said

    love my 223 mate shot a fox at 287 yards the other nite. dead center of chest.

    hi i have a remy 700 sps 223 1 in 12 twist i was shooting 55 grain hornady ballistic tips my grouping at 100 yards was 3 shots in the same hole at 200 yards the bullets were dropping 2inches low and 1 inch right and 3 shot were about an inch group ? i was using home loads with 26 and a half grains of powder

    yep agree countryside alliance cheaper and better in my view. would not join basc i was with them i got into a bit of trouble out shooting once, rung basc to tell them what had gone on and ask for help and they did not help me in anyway,after being with them for several years,i ended up in court thats all basc said to me was let us know how you get on.DO NO JOIN BASC TRUST ME.country side alliance all the way!

    you need a firearm cert for that mate its a 4 shot.you shold be able to get a remington 1100 for that price very good guns but you will have to change the rubber o rings every few months.would not go for an escort i have had 3 of them nothing but trouble i had to keep taken them back because things breaking on them

    Just walked out my back door 2 rabbits sitting out in the maize field so got the 17 hmr 1 shot hit him stone dead. head shot 110 yards on range finder sent the springer out to fetch it just skinned it wifes cooking it up. love rabbit

    well only had 17hmr on my ticket at the time and was having big probs on my estate with the foxes taking loads of my pheasants so that was all i could use. not all foxes make a nuisance of themselves. well when they come on my land they always do as i have 15000 pheasent. so why shoot everyone in your sight.because everyone i see in my sight is a pest. some lads are out 24 7 good on them there welcome to come on my land and fill there boots with foxes you have had a few litters near you which you have left. anyone ever come on my land and told me they seen a fox on my ground but would not
