    My own personal opinion would be the HW100 for sub 12ftlbs and the Ranger for FAC.

    A regulator, X-Tune and service on the MMC type Ultra is £150 and the newer Ultra SE is £185 or £200 depending on which type of regulator you go for.

    The valves on the buddy bottles are prone to leaking when they have very little air in them, they rely on the air pressure in the bottle to seal the valve. The bottles won't leak when on the rifle unless the rifle itself has a leak.

    It is not uncommon for the buddy bottle to move a little on some rifles, it is nothing to worry about. When you say there was a little bit of air left in it, roughly how much? Sometimes where there is 50bar or less you can get leaks because there is not enough pressure to hold the firing valve closed properly. Top it up and keep an eye on it. If it does have a leak have a look on my YouTube channel, there are DIY guides to fix most leaks.

    I have just seen this... I fitted the Tench reg and did the other mods (not the stock).

    I don't know any details of your friend's gun and the story surrounding it but if you have any warranty issues then you can get in touch with me, I will sort them out and settle up with Tench. He has not had a working computer for ages, which does not help. I think it is getting sorted soon, which will improve the lines of communication.

    What a load of cobblers! I chat to him every other day and no, it is not on a pay phone in a prison. I think you will find there are a lot of bitter people who have nothing better to do that slate/rubbish their opposition. I am learning this already, getting threats of legal action for having an opinion on forums and threats of sending the police around because I work on sub 12ftlbs airguns, which is perfectly legal. The police know what I do, how I do it and are perfectly happy I am not breaking the law. If anybody has any "proof" of him being inside then feel free to get in touch.

    A heavy pellet (Bisley Magnum, JSB heavy) is best for setting the power on a .177 PCP A mid-weight pellet like a AA Field or JSB Jumbo is best for setting the power on a .22 PCP (for sub 12ftlbs airguns, FAC is another story) I agree, there is no need to set you gun up to more than 11.5ftlbs with the pellets listed above, the difference will be minimal and the risks of having an illegal gun too high.
