  1. :11: touchy fecker ,didnt mean to sound clever pal .when youve tested it and know the answer i,d love to know the results ,think the main problem with the blitz is the 100 watt bulb and the candle power is going to drain any battery quick . if you use a 50watt bulb it should make no differnce to the beam just the battery .....as long as it was only 1 millon candle power .... but the blitz is a powerful lamp what i cant grab from there advertisment is it 1mcp or 6 mcp .but i,d say its not a good combo not like with the laserlite on a 50watt bulb . think the only way to find out for sure is to t
  2. 6 hrs is six hrs to me weather walking or on back of a van  like i said i use laserlite 50w bulb and i get about 9 hrs what it says so that,ll do for me good luck with what ever you choose
  3. and here,s the stats •Lightweight & easy to carry •High performance •Power stays constant for longer •Recharges in half the time (compared to sealed lead acid batteries) •Suitable for all 12v Lamps •6 Hrs Lamping with a Striker SL170 •9 Hrs Lamping with a Lazerlight
  4. if he,s from houghton he owns it all as far as the eye,s can see in all directions for miles and miles and many more
  5. i use laserlite cluson .bought one and never wanred to change for any other ,its small 2 bulbs (which has been mentioned) flip down filter .and have took all kinds of stuff on it ,if you put a handle on filter you can just pull lever and you on white light and just push it back up to put filter back a good little set up
  6. were bouts you from??? i am from chorley..i know them lads!!!we shoot a bit in garstang!!! good land..but very on top!!! preston mate do you know a lad D.R has 2 dogs called twinkle and zac
  7. couldnt agree with you more catcher 1 this country has lost the plot big time
  8. the first post on the topic is right on my doorstep and the lads from chorley who were arrested i don,t no but no someone who doe,s .i was told that the dogs were given a substance to make them sick to retrieve any fur or parts of hare,s that the dogs may have swallowed . as for the garstang area is a place not to go unless you have permission as it is very serious game kept land .and would not even chance it myself but a big thanks to the lads who are for bringing all on top for all the other lads who have hunted these parts for years .a bit of dessresion dosnt go a miss

  11. i use a laserlite with mine ,i,ll charge it and keep running it till it runs dead this time and let you know . although im doing like 3 huors or so a night .the lamp isnt on all the time as you no .but i get plenty of runs while out and ive had 3 good nights out of it .i have the 14 amp blt pack to and the lithium does seem to last longer and keep a good beam were as the belt pack start to dim after a few hours .each to there own mate i,ll stick with my lithium and you with your bad back .
  12. cant see why the lithium last longer than a 14 amp ,been out lamping for 3 nights about 10 hours in all and battery hadnt even lost any power on the beem and was still going they will last all night from dawn to dusk . they are so light you can just pop it in your pocket and away you go only down side is the price but still worth every penny imo
  13. full credit to you moo for giving the dog the time and dedication from you ,he looks very well in the pic and hope he comes back to top form for you well done
  14. i use the pulse with the bellman collar , you,ll not regret it . 1 meter = just under 3 1/2 ft .they very fast and accurrate the only thing is the beeping but just put some tape over the speaker hole and its not to loud
  15. a friend used to have a terrier like this ,in the end he got that sick of it we used to just load up the van and if dog didnt get in it missed the bus .we used to just drive off for about 1/4 of a mile with the dog running behind .then pull up and dog couldnt get in fast enough .after about ten or so times he didnt have to drive off just load up and start engine and dog was in :11: after a bit it just got in straight away as it new what was coming next .i know what your saying though i got a bullx bitch as timid as they come when im out if something spooks her or she gets one of her paranoid
