    i used to keep cyclids years ago and had some good fish ,had a pair of egyption mouthbrooders that bred well ,kept all there young in there mouths when other fish came near bye ..also try putting black mollys in when you first set up aa tank they will live comfortably in any water conditions ,one of the only fish that can live in fresh water and salt water and will set your filters up nicley for you ,an other good tip is to set up a trickle system were you have a small gravel filter above the water and let the floral pump the water through it ,it works the same way as the undergravel filter bu

  9. seen a few fox do that in the past. they generally don't last long! seen it a few times aswell ,the look on the owners face said it all ,had a rabbit jump a barb wired fence once with the lurcher right up its arse ,was going to go under through a run but a terrier was coming through it never had any were else to go jumped the fence and got away

  11. ive seen these borders very nice stamp ,ive seen them work to and the dog did very well

Not the best idea mate,a few different locators to choose from but all worth there weight in gold.if your starting out on your own with no help from an old hand then try to pick small earths to start you and the dog off with,hope it goes well for you and get yourself kitted up with the right tools as well.T bar,different spades for different jobs and even a garden fork all will be needed at some point,go back through a few dig pics(steviemanns latest ones shows some) and your'll see some of the types of tools needed.Good luck to both you and the dog and let us know how you get on mate.
  13. nice 1 was the dog on it by himself good going scooby , not the foxs that are shy youre getting better at calling only joking mate the colder weather is coming they will start coming in a bit easier for you and scoobs may it be the first of many . yards iis a good slip so dog did very well there . i must say though he,s like a rocket that dog when he takes off
  14. you wanna try it with the amber filter on there hell of a lot of back lite its blinding ,i like all my light to go forward and none come back at all ,but do like the hinge on yours ,any chance of a pic pal .
  15. have you got a better pic of how youve done the hinge mate ,done something simalar with my laser light and put handle on filter so you just pull it and the filters down ,done the same as you with the three tabs on the striker filter and spayed the edge of the filter black so all the light goe,s forward .just got the striker after using laserlight for years and first time i used it turned it on and got that much backlight couldnt see for about 5 mins .£85 from deben and 15 for filter you expect better than that from a big company who make there money out of fieldsports ,just shows how much r
  16. brother got 1 best there is out there never carry heavy batterys again last for about 4,5 hours. bang on that reply about 4 1/2 hours with striker and ive put 50w bulb out my laserlight in my striker and get about 9 hrs ,not much difference with the 2 bulbs it,ll still give you a piercing beam up to 800mtrs ,had some good long nights on it and the batterys always out lasted me ,thats walking by the way not driving ,plus the beam dosnt get dimmer when you use it after say an hour it stays the same to the end of the battery life but when its gone it just shuts off and thats it ,oh and not t
  17. so what would be tthe right age for the lad to start working her to the lamp ,how many runs a night and how old before he starts giving the dog some good hard nights , and roughly what age before he turns it from a few easy nights to some serious nights and at what age should he start thinking about entering it on other qaurry. i think he would benafit from knowing as he is a younster himself .
