I am growing a moustache (trying ) ... for charity... in memory of my friend who was killed earlier this year in afghanistan....leaving behind his wife who was 32 weeks pregnant...     Some horrors from when i first started making them... but its those that you learn from.... Ive made a few board cut.... but once you feel the ones with the palmswells and the likes....with the shaping to fit your hand.... Theyre worlds apart for comfort

    Recycled HDPE... from milk bottles and the likes... Cut out a mini shooter.... Sanded it down...but kept it a little 'brittle' so its easier to grip Banded up... Shoots nice...thin and pocketable... And strong as feck Another from milk bottles....

    Thought id start a fancy thread with some of the catapults ive made.... and will make in the future... Updated with pictures... ideas and my own 'how i do'..... Cheers ... Ill start off with my own...i use... and shoot.... Took a rabbit with it... a few hours after i had finished it... nicely christened Made another similar..... which is currently being auctioned for my charity 'movember'

    Right guys.... Got one of my catapults up for auction.... money to go to my 'movemeber' charity page..... In memory of friend who was killed in afghanistan earlier this year...     Alright lads.... Made two of these catapults...decided to keep one... and auction off the other.... Made from 2 sheets of birch ply (otherwise known as multiplex) ... high grade..... super strong.... Pinky hole...which sits your finger in nicely to get a good....secure hold.... Scolloped fork tips...which IMO keep the bands centered on the forks...and aids with aiming... This has been made for a right handed shooter...with comfort and hold in mind..... not just cut out...without thought to hand shape etc .... Fits the hand nicely.... Banded with DOUBLE THERABAND GO

    I wonder how many people....namely kids... are bitten each year....no-each week.....by next doors cranky shitzu x chihuaha....... But these go un reported as theyre nothing more than a ferret bite...
