  1. canny beat the fife ferrets I have to agree with that now don't I haha
  2. Ahh right. Corrected then
  3. Oh right, there's a guy in fife selling a box for 20 notes
  4. I don't want to change her to be honest. She's ate the same for 5 years and I'd rather let her keep a routine. I left a chicken wing with her overnight and in the day and se hadn't even had a nibble.
  5. My old ferret has done well on dry and wet catfood for 5 years. She won't eat anything else, not my doing as I got her late an it's too late to change her. I'm not saying that it's particulary good for them as I prefer raw meat with a biscuit option 24/7. Just that catfood can't be that bad if she's going strong at 5 purely on catfood wet and dry. My other ferrets love raw meat, they smash anything- crows, chicken, bones, fur, absolutely anything. Forgot to say, give them a treat of a raw egg once every now and then. They love it. Not too much as they can lose hair as too much is bad for t
  6. Make your own. I made mine from offcuts from b&q. Not the best but it will do the job. I'm going game fairs end if the month and next month and might pick up a decent one there. Simon whitehead makes his own and sells them at shows. Where do you live?
  7. I've got a Jill that only eats dry cat food or wet catfood. Shes 5 and just a pet. I would feed wet catfood when I'm short of meat. Dry biscuits are always available. When I fit my first hob he had been weaned onto wet catfood and when I weaned him onto meat he filled out in no time. Looks better aswell. When I got my kits off a guy on here, he was feeding them meat from an early age and there was a massive difference between them and my first hob in size, strength and condition( when they were the same age).
  8. They need meet to grow strong bones and a good structure. Mine live chicken wings from tesco
  9. I bought a cracking hutch off a guy a few Months back. He was a retired joiner and was making single, double and triple hutchs to sell and make a bit of money. He made me a triple and when I went to get it I was amazed at the build quality. I've never seen a hutch that's made so strong, it's absoloutley rock solid. I keep my 3 jobs and my Jill in there. I can't upload a picture as I'm using an iPhone. Your hutch looks good mate. Well done
  10. Good looking kits, mine have doubled in size from 9wks to 12 weeks. Feed them raw meat and they are growing like f**k
  11. Yeah good advice mate. My collie x lab is eager to please, I reckon she would go after rabbits if I tried her. Don't think she's got the speed though. She would hold them down in the longnets etc. Would be good if she done the job though, wouldnt that be funny out in the field, a lab x collie among the whippets etc. Thanks or the help, I'll have a read through the posts ad see what's about. 12. i was wondering whatr was the best type of dog to get for rabbiting? i was looking at getting a dog in the future to accompany my ferrets but dont have a clue on what would suit. ive got a lab x collie now but shes just a pet. ive seen many post on here describing lurcher x's, bull x's and greyhound x's but im unsure what these dogs are suited for and what job they are bred to do. cheers for all your help guys. lee

  15. altberg is a little company that is in richmond near catterick. thats where the army infantry soldiers do all their training, when we are in training we get took there and advised to buy a pair. they made mine tailored to my feet and would do that for anybody going into the shop itself. other than that just type in 'altberg' on google and they will have a website. either altberg peacekeepers or the warriors. ive had mine for 4 year and they are still in mint condt. lowas are good though. just a bit heavy for what i do. when im out i wear trainers! i wear boots all week and 7 month in

    The scheme

Everywhere is full of junkies and wasters. Loads of kids turn out good because they see what the drugs does to the People around them.
  18. Racism is a double edged sword. It's good to have a certain amount of racist views towards Muslims etc when it's always them hitting the news for something or other. Then dirty b*****ds do my f****n head in. try come to Britian and ten complain about us flying our flags. Want to get Christmas day changed to st noels day because it has the words 'christ' in it. They piss me right off. And let's be serious they are taking over Britian. The labour party has f****d the place up with it's slack laws. It's not the polish, not the chineese or the Africans, it's the f****n Muslims that are the problem
  19. Nice idea about the pillow case. Might have a wee go at that
  20. There's a French version of deben mk3. Don't know if it's a different make or it's just a deben in French packaging. Still pricey though. They're on eBay
  21. Altberg boots are by far the best. I'm in the army and everybody here swears by them. Altberg peacekeepers. Lows boots are spot on aswell, they're a bit heavy for running about and wearing for everyday use but when we go on exercise and the shit hits the fan we wear lowas. Mine have been through so much shit, been in some seriously bad condition and have been treated like shit an they are still going strong. Altberg or lows boots are the way forward lads
