  1. I would like to see him getting near a bush chicken lol
  2. I do,even the most miniscule of cuts and knocks i treat in a few moments, them few moments of care aid the dog as the season unfolds,i possibly understand your true meaning but a little care and attention is more than beneficial to the mutt as its season progresses. If I let those small cuts heal my dogs wouldn't be hunting much at all, my dogs don't even notice things like that so it's hard to tell if they've even got them.
  3. The brindle bitch with a black muzzle is a line bred stag, the white pup is a wolfhound based stag x stag wolfhound / grey. The other two are out of the stag to a wolf stag pit ridgeback. I live in north east vic on the border of vic and nsw
  4. I don't even take notice of cuts like that anymore
  5. Yep, big Tom that had been terrorising the farmers dairy and pet cats.
  6. You sure have stabs. Yeah I'm in Aus. Getting close to the end of the season for the foxes. Will chase them on my summer time properties on the stubble December, looking forward to getting 10+ foxes a night now I've finally got a handy set up.
  7. That dog doesn't even have English bull terrier in it, it's a greyhound staghound and it was the first fox it had been on.
  8. Only 3 weeks until I get my first bull deer grey. Only ever had luck with wolfhound saturated dogs so hopefully this pup is different to the other deerhound blooded dogs I've had.
  9. Got a mate that lives in south east Queensland. Not sure on his dog situation at the moment though, had a bit of a bad run.
  10. Would never own another dog with whippet in it, don't think I'd ever want to own another Ibizan x and wouldn't own a dog with a lotta greyhound.
  11. Davey you'll find breeding sister/brother pure breds it's common for abnormalities, but with cross breds, as they don't have a tight gene pool you won't get abnormalities.
  12. Go for your life mate! I'm the only person who chases hares around here so my dogs are taking 5/5s on their own. Won't be long till my dogs are getting 0/5s though haha
  13. I even had a feral cat cut across a channel. I hadn't even let the dogs off it just saw me and swam
  14. The bitch furtherest to the right in the pic feels the heat. In saying that the two others really don't feel it much at all, but I do try to make their runs as short as possible to avoid injuries.
  15. Heat doesn't worry them much at all but I won't work them on a day that's over 35 degrees. I don't even think about the ground when I go out so it doesn't worry them either
